Excellent for colour maintenance

Lisa

After years of ask for my hairdresser's recommendations on which purple shampoo to use and getting vague, useless answers I finally found Fanola thanks to Adore's Beauty IQ! I bought Fanola No Orange as I'm a dark brunette with balayage and my warm tones can be particularly stubborn.

Fanola No Orange is great for maintenance to keep those unwanted tones at bay, it's incredibly pigmented and may stain your hands, but I find my hands return to normal by the end of my shower/hair wash! It can be a little drying, so I wouldn't recommend using it too often (or leave it on too long!) or your hair may suffer.

If you hair tone is as stubborn as mine, this will not completely revitalise your colour on its own (believe me, I tried it!), but it is great at keeping your colour fresh.

This is ok however find that it didn't amaze me by keeping the warm tones at bay.

  2. Must have for Coloured Asian Hair

I first bleached my fair in February but was unaware I needed to use anything other than my colour treated shampoo and conditioner combo. Two months later it was looking extremely brassy so I purchased this shampoo (with Olaplex 3) to see if it could help neutralise the orange tones I was seeing.

Unfortunately, it did not help so I had it recoloured a darker colour. No more beautiful balayage this time. Now again it's been two months and my hair has lightened to a warmer brown. 200% better than my first experience although I may have needed the yellow shampoo the first time around since my lighter colours were more caramel blonde.

I also purchased the 1L since it was the more economical choice.
  3. Platinum blonde

This makes my hair a beautiful platinum white blonde rather than the grey tones that no yellow gives. It is a little drying, so I can only use it sometimes and need to use a mask afterwards.

My hairdresser recommended this to me and I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has ash brown hair
  5. Great

It's definitely blue! I haven't noticed that it helps with brassiness as much as I had hoped. It does leave hear feeling beautiful because it is pH balanced. The smell is pretty too.
