I have been using this product on and off for 3 years and keep coming back to it. It’s lightweight, non greasy and absorbs well. I have combination skin with congestion and acne & with Aspect’s jungle brew and pigment punch, feel this trio are great for managing my skin issues whilst also targeting ageing. Highly recommend.

Game changer for my skinThis product has faded some of my pigmentation after using for a week nightly, it’s also helped to even out my skin tone, love it!
AmazingIve used a few retinol serums and I've definitely seen noticeable results with this one.
smootherless defined fine lines, less visible pores, smoother skin just to name a few. My skin feels more plump and hydrated and the products are so gentle that I have had no irritation which is amazing given my skin is easily irritated and prone to redness.
fantasticI alternate between this and my cosmedix retinol (which is stronger) It's really helped with my oily, dehydrated and congested skin that is starting to show some fine lines. It's not cheap but it definitely delivers results!
Evened out skin toneWas recommended this product by a friend who swore by it, and was generally impressed. The price tag is a bit exy but the product is good. I used in tandem with the Aspect Extreme C and found that they both worked really well to clear up my skin and leave a brighter glowy complection. Had to be really careful to let it all soak in before moisturizing as I have sensitive skin and it would sometimes accidentally get on my eyelids and cause it to flake. Would be interested to use it on its on to see how it performs.
Great Australian SkincarePurchased this in the sale after seeing Kate AdoreBeauty use this time and time again. The texture is light and the kakadu plum makes it smell incredible. The formula is rich enough to feel hydrating but doesn't break me out. I notice a change in skin texture and hormonal acne when I use this regularly. It's always a wonderful feeling to find Australian brands making incredible skin care and use Australian ingredients. Would definitely recommend.
Outperformed by a $20 alternativeI've included a retinol serum as part of my skin care regime for many years - it helps with congestion, it brightens the complexion, is known to prevent signs of ageing, etc. It's just a good all rounder to include.
This Aspect one was actually the first I ever used and was recommended to me by my aesthetician at the time. I remember when I first started using it, I went through that 'retinol roughness' period for a couple of weeks before my skin suddenly looked much better - fewer breakouts, a clearer complexion, smoother skin, etc.
But, Aspect isn't cheap so when an inexpensive skin care line entered the market - and I could get a 30ml retinol serum for $20 - I thought I'd try it, fully thinking that it wouldn't be as effective as Retinol Brulee.
I was dead wrong. I started using the inexpensive retinol serum (which I think was a 2% retinol solution) and I went through that 'retinol roughness' again. I couldn't believe it - it must have been much stronger to cause that, right? In any case, in a few weeks, my skin was smoother and clearer, I had fewer breakouts and some hyper -pigmentation had improved.
I was really shocked - but that's the thing with expensive skin care products... Even if you can find an ingredient list (and not all have that), they never tell you the exact percentage of active ingredients.
I love Aspect's cleanser and moisturiser and Retinol Brulee did improve my skin when I first introduced it - so it does work - but now I think their serums are over-priced for what they are. So a low score from me, as you can get a more effective product for far far less.
ASPECT RETINOL BRULEEI'm on to my third bottle of this and would not be without this product. Its gentle on the skin yet has really helped with pigmentation and the appearance of open pores in the t-zone. I love this product!

Love it!I love this serum! It's gentle yet effective I have used it now for 6 months daily in mixer with the Aspect Exfol L and I have to say, the improvement in my skin has been visible and very pleasing. If your wanting to start with gentle non irritating Vitimin A serum- This one would be a good one to start with...smells divine too.
Game changer!I was told by a friend that I had to try this, and I’m so thankful I did!!
It cleared my spotty face within 3 days!!!!!
Would totally recommend!
