How to use your Carrière Frères Candle Refill:
Never burn the refill in its packaging.
Before adding a refill, remove any wax residue left in the glass container. Place the glass into the freezer for a few hours to easily remove any residue, or alternatively, rub the glass with a wet soapy cloth.
Remove the wick and metallic wick tab.
Once the container is empty and clean, remove the refill from its packaging by turning it upside down.
Place the scented refill into the Carrière Frères glass container and burn as usual.
Who are Carriere Freres?
Starting their journey into candle creation in 1884, the Carrière brothers decided to transform the candle, which at the time was considered a practical light source for the evenings, into something that could complete the home.
Winning a gold medal for their invention at the Universal Exposition of 1889 held in Paris, Carriere Freres set out to modernise candles. Inspired by the work of 18th century botanists and adventurers, they worked to transform fine fragrant ingredients into scented candles that could fill a room with their liveliness.
With thoughtful blends of waxes that beautifully carry the delicate spring and summer notes of their hero scents, Carrière Frères has the same lineage as Cire Trudon candles. Originating from one of the oldest and most reputable candle companies in the world, Carrière Frères once worked in la Manufacture Royale de Cire, which continued to supply the finest wax across France even after the French Revolution.
