If you want the best possible base...

Thomas

I left a review for the full-size Micro HD Foundation palette, and will echo what I said there here; it is one of the most natural, skin-like foundations I've ever used, but it has excellent coverage as well, is extremely easy to blend and work with, and really does give skin a very natural radiance on HD cameras that is genuinely unique.

If I were a rich man I would probably never use any foundation other than this, and Kryolan Dual Finish which is better for very oily or youthful skin. That's the thing though; I'm not a rich man, and this is not an economic product. Not only is the asking price very high (almost twice as much as the RCMA palette, which looks just as good off camera even if it is tougher to work with) the cream is very light, and you need to dig out a good size lump to blend over a full face.

Finally if you want the entire face to have that special 'glow,' on camera then you either need to blend this over heavy contouring, or contour and highlight with the same product. That's where this cache palette comes in. Since if you used the big palette for contouring some of the lighter and darker cells would be used up very quickly.

So I don't recommend this for everyone, but if you, or your makeup are going to be appearing on camera and you want it to pop like crazy, there is no substitute.

this foundation was recommended to me by another actor for my headshots bc of how good it looks on camera and i literally couldn't believe it. my skin was glowing but it didn't look like i was wearing anything at all. i will never go without it! Even cream contouring looks hyper natural and so glowing and gorgeous.
