For those of us who can’t rely solely on the power of prevention, there are many methods out there that can help fade pigmentation faster and rejuvenate the skin.

Tarsh's Tips to Remove Pigmentation on Your Face:

  • Don't over strip your skin with harsh chemical exfoliants or toners, and opt for a gentle exfoliant like Lactic Acid
  • You can add sun protection over your makeup look using a mineral powder with SPF. 
  • Because pigmentation is so deep below the surface of the skin, there is only so much you can do to reverse it. The best method for minimising pigmentation is prevention, and that can be achieved with a good SPF. Whether you’re spending your time indoors or outdoors, using an SPF is vital to shield your skin from sun damage. Remember, SPF is only one part of sun protection! Always seek shade, and wear sunnies, a hat and protective clothing. Use sufficient sunscreen for all unprotected areas and reapply sunscreen as directed. Frequent re-application or use in accordance with directions is required for effective sun protection. Always read the label. Prolonged high-risk sun exposure should be avoided.
