I use vitamin c every morning so I get through vitamin c products very quickly, and good vitamin c products can be expensive because of how hard it is to formulated one that doesn't oxidise too quickly. I'm not a huge fan - it is easy enough to mix into a serum or moisturiser but when applied to the face, it pills like crazy. I also find that it stings a great deal when left on. Hence, I use this sort of like a 60-second mask instead and mix it in with my cleanser so it gets rinsed off. I haven't really seen much difference made to my skin.Love it

I have now used the whole jar having mixed it with various serums such as Resveratol. If you wait half an hour you can then apply Retinol as the waiting period allows the skin's PH to then revert to normal. These are then a powerhouse of ingredients.Affordable, simple, flexible.

This is definitely a serious vitamin C product. You only need about a quarter of the spoon provided to get results and I'd say be careful using anymore than that. There's a tingling sensation that occurs once you've applied it but this goes away quickly. It can make some serums feel really thick and heavy, or the combination can feel quite uncomfortable on the skin. Noticed another major brand was selling a Vit C cleansing powder, so thought I'd give it a try with this. A few scoops in a small amount of cleanser. Applied all over my face, shaved and rinsed the rest off in the shower (a good 5-10 mins). When I first started using it (with The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronics) I was wondering why it was so harsh, I then realized you didn't have to use the full spoonful of powder- that you can use a half or even a quarter and that it still gives great results! No matter what moisturiser I mix it with - or the small amount that I use, my face just feel sticky for hours and hours afterwards.
