I bought this for the arbutin as it’s reputed to work for hyperpigmentation. The serum is a clear liquid, easily spread and feels “oily” on application though there isn’t any oil. I haven’t seen any improvements yet, but at the same time, my skin and hyperpigmentation hasn’t worsened. Hopefully, it will work to lighten the dark spots on my cheeks. I’m so happy I started incorporating this serum into my routine I cannot believe how smooth my skin is looking and I’ve only been using this product for about a month. The uneven skin tone and the acne scarring is diminishing. I wish I used this serum years ago when I did skin needling to reduce the my scarring. This stuff has helped my uneven skin tone, sun spots, redness from squeezin' the heck out of sebaceous filaments around my nose, and acne scars from hormonal acne. I added this to my routine to combat discolouration and scars, it’s made a massive difference. So hydrating too. Don’t be concerned if your bottle is slightly off colour, it’s still good. What’s great about alpha arbutin is it has no conflicts - so morning and night is no issue.An ok addition to my hyperpigmentation routine.
I bought the larger size bottle of this serum to add to routine that already contains many ingredients to fight my hyperpigmentation patches. The serum has a thick texture but very light on the skin and moisturize very well. I've been using it together with Ascorbic Acid 8% for 5 months hoping to reduce hyperpigmentation. I was using the Niacinamide but recently switched over to this which is more targeted towards my skin concerns, have high hopes for this in the long term and have no doubt it will work as expectedProduct is orange?
I used up my smaller bottle of alpha arbutin, a clear liquid, so I purchased this supersized on. On opening the package, I discovered the liquid to have an orange tint. I have no idea if this is okay to use.
