Most Helpful Positive

Great feel, unfortunately smells too strong!

Aline

I normally love laroche-posay and wanted to love this but was worried about strong scent. I love how it makes my skin look and feel but I cannot get past the strong perfume smell.

Most Helpful Criticism

It's OK

Christine

Started using this when my la roche posay effaclar moisturiser ran out - it's a higher price point and slightly thicker than the very light weight effaclar moisturiser. I'm not sure it's worth the higher price tag, and from what I now know about Hyaluronic Acid, it's probably not doing much for my skin in a moisturiser form. I was sucked in by the marketing :(

Overall it's OK but I wouldn't repurchase.

  2. Very good

    Line

I used this cream after my serum and it is very absorbing; so I was able to apply Anthelios lotion without feeling the skin feeling oily.
  3. Works wonderfully!

    Diego

Bought this a few months ago and tried the serum as well. Purchased both again and will continue to. Both the serum and the cream have made my skin glow !! I use the serum during the day and the cream at night.

  5. I wanted to love it

    Kat

I needed a basic moisturiser to start managing some of those lines that were creeping in, but although the texture was great and I wanted to love it, I felt like this left a barrier on my skin, and my skin wasn't able to breathe when it was very humid (think Queensland summer) and I always felt the need to wash this off my face by the end of the day!
  6. Amazing

    Connie

Switched to this from SKII RNA and wow! A little bit goes a long way and just sinks into the skin, leaving it feeling amazing. It is scented which could be a deterrent for some but I haven’t found it irritating at all.
  7. Another great product from this brand

    Carla27

I’m a fan of this brand, I love their SPF 50 tinted moisturiser in particular. So when I was searching for a new moisturiser I thought it’d check La Roche Posay and see what they have.
I was looking for a hydrating moisturiser suitable for day and night that also treated fine lines.
I found this, and given it’s quite competitively priced compared to similar products in this category an...

  8. Tried and true la roche posay

    Dorothy

    verified purchaser
La Roche posay is one of the oldest brands I like. Till today B5 cream is still my stable. This is kinda new and kinda pricy but I do trust lrp's formula. Except their tinted products. you might wanna avoid those.
  9. Love this moisturiser!

    Juls

My husband bought this after I suggested it to him based on positive reviews I had read. I tried it and love it. It is a lovely consistency and smoothes and absorbs into your skin beautifully. The tube is great too - no mess getting product out. I will say 40ml is quite small and a larger size tube is preferred but love the product so will repurchase anyway.
  10. glides on skin

    Alison

perfect product for people suffering dry skin, it gives it a boost!
  11. Great

    Alice

Really hydrating my dehydrated skin. A bit expensive however and wish it was fragrance free
  12. love this product so muchhh

    harli

this is a great product that has helped my skin clear out and keep hydrated over the winter
  13. Beautiful cream

    Stacey

Love love love this cream. Glides on and feels super silky on the skin. No tackiness and feels likes it absorbs well. I’ve used the Ordinary Hyaluronic acid also when my budget doesn’t stretch as far but my ultimate favourite will always be this one.
  14. This has been a game changer for me

    Dalida

I use it in conjunction of the halu b5 serum and wow the results are amaizng my skin has come along way I’m 31 and people still think I look 29
  15. love this product

  16. Happy with this product

    Jessica

I did like the results of this product, it was very hydrating and my skin felt smooth and makeup felt like it stayed on longer while using it
  17. One of the best moisturisers I've tried

    SBL

I love this because of its super silky light weight texture. As someone with oily skin I don't like to feel products residue on my skin, however I know that I need to keep my skin hydrated and it can be a fine line to walk. This moisturiser feels amazing, sinks in amazing, works with all of my other varied products from different brands and sits well under makeup! What more is there to say - it's ...

  18. the usual la roche posay

    Wivinia

it is probably biased to say highly recommended as this product is another signature of being silky, calming, and the go-to la roche posay product in my routine whenever i have any blemishes, breakouts, or occasional irritations/redness over my skin - give it a night over to recover and most of the blemishes are pretty much gone, and your skin is soft and purified ready to go. though, nothing part...

  19. Nice

    Angela

I like this product for its consistency and it does feel very nice on the skin. However, I find that I wake up with an oily nose in the morning which is unusual for me as I am a dry skin type. Also, the perfume bothers the skin around my nose as I am very sensitive to perfume.
  20. Not convinced

    Bella

The texture of this is it's high point, glides on well, sinks in well, spreads easily and not tacky. However this is quite artificially fragranced which i don't like, and while it did plump the first few nights, after about a week my skin got a bit 'creepy'. I discontinued using it, my skin is fair and sensitive/prone to redness.
  21. Perfect consistency

    Lucrecia

What I love about this cream is that it is hydrating without feeling or looking greasy. I especially like it for day wear as it wears nicely under foundation but it also makes my skin feel great on days I don't wear makeup. I like the serum just a bit better than the cream, but I've also used both (serum then cream) for days when I feel my skin needs a bit more love and the two products work wel...

  22. Would Buy

    James

Along with the La Roche Hylauronic B5 Serum, I’ve trialled this product and as I haven't used long term, to see the long term results. I’m happy at how it blends into the skin upon application. It’s not a thick cream so absorbs we’ll without that thick layer feeling.
  23. Light and Dewy

    Elise

I've been looking to include a hyaluronic acid into my skin care regime, and I won't be looking any further that this product. It's left my skin feeling glowing and dewy, and a little goes a long way. It smells lovely. I have quite oily skin naturally, but it hasn't added to any oiliness or shine. `There doesn't appear to be a need for any other type of moisturiser after using this. I put it on af...

Hooray for hyaluronic acid! It has saved my skin. La Roche-Posay's range of HA products are a bit more expensive than alternatives like The Ordinary or Indeed Labs, but they work beautifully in providing your skin with a moisture boost without heavy oils. I'm still a bit puzzled as to why they include alcohol in their HA formulations, but I haven't found them drying or irritating at all, so hey ho...
