Shop shampoo for every hair type

Our shampoo range covers every hair type and concern, from dry and damaged hair to fine, coloured, or oily hair, spanning both salon-professional brands and everyday haircare options. Choosing the right shampoo comes down to what your hair actually needs, rather than picking whatever's on special, since a mismatched formula can leave hair feeling stripped, weighed down, or under-cleansed. Most hair types do well with washing two to three times a week, though this can vary depending on your scalp and how much you style or heat treat your hair.

Shampoo for dry and damaged hair

If your hair feels dry and needs some extra care, the ELEVEN Australia Hydrate My Hair Moisture Shampoo is a gentle, hydrating formula that refreshes both hair and scalp while adding moisture. It's sulfate-free, vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-free, and safe to use on coloured hair. For hair that's been through a lot, whether that's frequent colouring or heat styling, the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo strengthens and repairs damaged bonds, leaving hair feeling stronger with less breakage and fewer split ends.

Shampoo for fine, thinning or oily hair

Fine or flat hair often needs a lighter formula that adds volume without weighing it down, such as the Kérastase Genesis Fortifying Shampoo for Thin Hair, which targets weakened, thinning hair prone to breakage. If your scalp tends to get oily quickly, a clarifying option like the ELEVEN Australia Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo can help remove product build-up and excess oil between washes, though it's worth using it less often than a regular shampoo so it doesn't strip your natural oils.

Shampoo for coloured and scalp-conscious hair

Colour-treated hair benefits from a shampoo formulated to protect vibrancy, such as the Pureology Hydrate Shampoo, which combines hydration with colour care in one step. If dandruff or an itchy scalp is more of a concern, the Redken Dandruff Control Shampoo is designed to target flaking and scalp irritation directly. Whatever your hair concern, it's worth matching your shampoo to it rather than defaulting to a generic formula, and pairing it with a suitable conditioner tends to get better results than relying on shampoo alone.

How often should I wash my hair with shampoo?

It depends on your hair type and lifestyle, but 2 to 3 times a week works for most hair types. Oily hair may need washing more often, while dry or curly hair can go longer between washes.

Can I use the same shampoo every day?

Yes, but choose the right shampoo for your hair's needs. If you use a clarifying shampoo, use it less often so it doesn't strip your natural oils.

Should I use a shampoo made for my specific hair type?

Yes. A shampoo made for your hair type, whether fine, curly or dry, targets its specific needs and tends to give better results than a generic formula.

    Very nice

as an anti dandruff shampoo works really well, i've been using this for a couple weeks now and i have basically zero visible dandruff, and importantly no menthol in the formula which irritates my skin, in terms of how clarifying it is, i would say it's not the strongest, which means my scalp can get oily after a couple days but other then that really nice. has a citrusy smell that's pleasant
