What is the Kérastase Densifique Bain Densite Refill Shampoo Pouch?
The Kérastase Densifique Refill Pouch is a smart, bulk thickening shampoo pouch containing 500ml of our professional volume-boosting cleanser for fine or thinning strands. It is designed to cleanly replenish your original pump bottle while drastically lowering synthetic waste.
-
How much plastic waste do I save by using this eco friendly volume cleanser pouch?
By opting for this sustainable hair density shampoo pouch, you reduce your overall plastic consumption by eighty-two percent compared to purchasing two standard 250ml retail bottles. It is a brilliant way to maintain a premium hair routine while being completely mindful of the environment.
-
How should I transfer the liquid into my original Kérastase bottle?
First, rinse your empty Kérastase pump bottle thoroughly with warm water and let it dry completely. Unscrew your bottle's pump, cut the top spout off the refill pouch, and pour the fresh gel fluid directly into the opening. Screw the pump mechanism back on tightly and store any leftover pouch liquid in a cool space.
-
What hair structure is the Kérastase Bain Densité refill formulated to treat?
This formula is engineered specifically for fine, sparse, or limp hair types that visibly lack density and flatten easily. This eco friendly volume cleanser plumps up individual hair fibers from within, making your hair look significantly fuller, thicker, and more voluminous right from the root.
-
Can I use this bulk shampoo refill pouch to fill any regular dispenser?
While you can pour it into any clean dispenser bottle, we highly recommend using the official Kérastase aluminum or plastic 500ml pump bottles. These are specifically engineered to cleanly pump the exact concentrated dose of this texturizing cleanser without clogging the mechanism.
-
Is this sustainable hair density shampoo safe for colour-treated hair?
Yes, this formula is entirely colour-safe. Thinning hair that has been chemically processed or highlighted can easily look weak and limp. This shampoo focuses on infusing structural texturizing minerals back into porous fibers, adding excellent body and bounce without fading your colour.
-
What active conditioning ingredients power the texturizing action?
The formula blends deeply hydrating Hyaluronic Acid to plump individual strands with moisture, alongside a powerful Stemoxydine complex and Gluco-Peptides to nourish the hair cuticle, reinforcing the physical diameter of existing strands for a denser appearance.
-
Will this thickening shampoo help with genetic hair loss or male pattern baldness?
Please note that this shampoo is a cosmetic texturizing treatment and is not a medical hair regrowth treatment for pattern baldness. It works by expanding the physical thickness of your existing hair fibers, helping fine or limp hair look visibly fuller and more abundant down the lengths.
-
Can I use this volume-boosting shampoo every single day?
Yes, the gentle, balancing cleansing base is perfectly safe for daily use if your lifestyle requires frequent washing. It thoroughly clears away surface oil and product buildup while respecting your scalp's moisture barrier, ensuring thin roots maintain maximum natural lift and body.
-
Does this product leave a heavy film or residue behind on fine hair?
Not at all. This translucent, lightweight gel formula rinses away completely cleanly with water. It leaves absolutely zero synthetic residue or oily weight behind, ensuring delicate strands remain clean, light, and full of natural daily bounce and volume.
-
How many full bottle top-ups do I get out of one 500ml pouch?
One bulk 500ml pouch will completely fill a standard large salon pump bottle once, or it can be used to cleanly top up a traditional 250ml retail squeeze bottle exactly twice, providing a convenient long-term supply for your bathroom vanity.
-
What fragrance profile does this thickening shampoo pouch carry?
It leaves a beautifully classic, upscale, and clean aroma filled with soft powdery notes and delicate floral undertones. It wraps your finished style in a long-lasting, sophisticated freshness that smells remarkably clean and salon-grade throughout the day.

Tibbzy4 months agoI have purchased the Kerastase Densifique shampoo multiple times and really love it. I previously bought the 200ml bottles, but the 500ml refill pouch is much better value for money and lasts longer. It leaves my hair feeling clean, light and fuller without weighing it down. Thank you Adore Beauty for stocking the refill option.
