Could This Overnight Mask Be A Hybrid Of Our Editor's Two Faves?

If there's one thing I do really well, it's talk about how much I love a product until people can't stand me talking about it anymore. In fairness to myself, this has led a lot of people to discover products they otherwise wouldn't have ever used.
There's two particular masks/peels that I talk about incessantly. If you follow me on Instagram or listen to the podcast, you'll be able to guess what they are, but if you don't, I'm referring to Aspect's Probiotic Mask and Estée Lauder's Perfectionist Pro Instant Resurfacing Peel.
So when a new product popped up on the site that looked to be a hybrid of both of these products, I demanded (or politely requested) a sample. That product is philosophy's microdelivery dream peel overnight face mask.
What Do These Products Have In Common?
So, philosophy's microdelivery dream peel overnight face mask contains 6% AHAs and BHAs as well as a resetting probiotic complex - which is why I instantly assumed this product would be a hybrid of my two favourites.
Aspect's Probiotic Mask, as the name suggests, contains probiotics (as well as protective antioxidants and nourishing oils). This ingredient helps to support the skin's delicate barrier and reduce inflammation in the skin, as well as deliver essential nutrients for optimal skin function.
Estée Lauder Perfectionist Pro Instant Resurfacing Peel contains 9.9% AHAs and BHAs alongside hyaluronic acid, to gently yet effectively resurface the skin, revealing an instantly smoother, more radiance complexion. Trust me, you won't be able to stop touching your face after using this.
While philosophy's microdelivery dream peel overnight face mask certainly does have a few ingredients in common with the other two products, it also features hibiscus extract to inhibit elastin degradation and provide antioxidant support.
Let's find out exactly what makes this product special.

And I bet you're wondering how it stacks up to the other two? Well, I won't be ditching the others, but this certainly will be staying in my collection of masks and peels. It's gentle on the skin, but still delivers noticeable glowy skin results the next day.
How Do You Use It?
This part is important. The first time I used this product, I didn't realise you were meant to leave it on overnight, so I removed it after about 30 minutes (it still did something FYI).
The tube comes with an attached spatula (super handy and reduces mess!), which you'll need to twist to the 'on' position. After cleansing and patting your face dry, apply an even layer of the gel-like formula onto your skin.
Allow it to dry for about 15 minutes, before leaving it on overnight. Make sure you twist the spatula applicator into the 'off' position and rinse it with warm water.
In the morning, rinse off the mask and go about your day as normal - you may want to avoid using acids the following day or so to avoid causing any sensitivity. You can use this mask/peel weekly, or up to 3 nights in a row for enhanced results.
