The Alpha-H Midnight Reboot Serum 50ml is an overnight treatment serum that uniquely combines glycolic acid, an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), and granactive retinoid, a derivative of vitamin A, to rejuvenate lacklustre, prematurely aged skin.
This powerhouse of a serum exfoliates and eliminates dead skin cells, thus creating a pathway for the granactive retinoid to delve deeper into the skin, accelerating its natural renewal process.

Alpha-H Midnight Reboot Serum was my first ever retinol and I bought it with the recommendation of one of my Adore colleagues in the skincare team who said it would be a great (and effective) first retinol to start with.
I have dry skin so wanted to start using this to encourage some more glow and bounce and to combat any early fine lines.
My skin has a really high tolerance to actives - so although I did start by just using this twice a week, I use it frequently in my skin cycling routine now.
It does have quite a strong spicy/chemically/ham smell (lol), it doesn't bother me too much.
I know that my mum also uses this and it really put her off at the start.
So I'll tell you what I told her: the smell might not be lovely BUT the results are worth it!
It leaves a tingle on the skin when it's applied and It's always my go-to the night before events and photos because the next day I wake up and my skin feels tight and looks radiant.
Whether you're a retinol pro or a beginner like I was - I recommend this!
Like all actives, go easy at the start and ease it into your routine. But once you find your groove, you'll be glad you tried it!

This formula completely baffled me when it was first launched.
I couldn't believe it – 14% glycolic acid and 1% granactive retinoid! But Alpha-H has once again slayed the game in creating a skin-transforming elixir.
The serum itself has a consistency like a liquid cream. To my surprise, it is quite hydrating for a strong exfoliating product.
It absorbs quickly into the skin and provides a slight, fleeting tingle that dissipates within seconds.
Did I mention it was my introduction to retinol? Truly zero to one hundred, but I was smart about it. I used it once a week and would pay extra attention to my skin barrier and hydration the following days.
Without fail, every time I incorporate this into my skincare routine, I wake up looking and feeling incredibly juicy.
There are no other words for it, just incredibly juicy.
It's my holy grail for special events, filming sessions, or whenever I’m in need of a boost.
You best believe when my girlfriends are over for spa nights I always convince them to try it and they are always amazed.

It is a strong exfoliant, so be sure to hydrate your skin after you apply the serum and keep it hydrated the days after.
