The Lipsticks Adore Beauty Staffers Are Adding to Cart on Lips Week

Aside from tax return day, there’s a few other significant dates we need to be marking in our calendars...

The family dog’s birthday, Christmas, Taylor Swift Australian concert dates and of course, National Lipstick Day.

Or for us, Lipstick week, year even; because, (besides brows) is there anything that really ties together a daily makeup look more than a swipe of lipstick, lip balm or lip gloss? (That was a rhetorical question).

1. "I have a few in my cart, so buckle up friends! M.A.C Cosmetics Lip Pencil in shade 'Spice' after my colleague Dalal used it on me in this YouTube video. Not only is it a gorgeous universal colour that I would wear on its own, it also neutralises the natural dark line I have around my lips (making them look fuller). I also have my eye on Huda Beauty Power Bullet Cream Glow Lipstick in shade ‘Bossy Brown’ and after trying the $27 Maybelline Superstay Vinyl Lip Ink (pictured below) in shade ‘Cheeky’, I’m also adding shade ‘Lippy’ to cart." - Sadaf.

2. "Huda Beauty Power Bullet Cream Glow Lipstick in 'Sweet Cheeks'. It's literally sitting in my cart right now!!! The Cream Glow lippies have the perfect blend of creaminess and a bit of sheen, and feel SO comfortable on." - Alexina.

3. "M.A.C Cosmetics Satin Lipstick in 'Rebel'. I lost it on a night out and now I'm looking to repurchase because it's such a nice colour." - Dani.

4. "Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick is my favourite!! It’s very creamy and easy to apply and the packaging is so luxurious, it makes the whole experience of using it special. I also LOVE shade 80 'Chili Tunique' but really want to try 'Burnt Zelliege' so adding those to my cart." - Laura.

5. "I have theHuda Beauty Lip Blush Creamy Lip & Cheek Stain on my wishlist, and want every colour! I love a lip stain but I find that some formulas are a bit drying and sit in my lip creases and cracks. This one is described as satin-matte, creamy and non-drying, so I'm super excited to try it. PLUS, it can be used on your cheeks and I would never turn down a new blush." - Kathryn.

6. "I recently had the pleasure of road-testing the MAC Liquid Kiss Ink for this Beauty IQ review. This lippie is the sole reason I no longer stick my nose up at liquid lipstick. The pigment is incredible considering how light the formula feels and the shade I have in my cart is 'Ripe,' it’s a gorgeous almost-red, fuchsia that really brightens the teeth. You're probably wondering, "If you have the lippie, why is it in your cart?". My mum loved it too and since I love her, it is now hers. What can I say? I'm just an incredible daughter. 7. "I think it’s about time I try M.A.C Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy." - Madison.

8. "I really want a nude-ish brown shade, something browner than Velvet Teddy, but still beige or neutral and a little more on-trend for now. I'm thinking of adding M.A.C Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in ‘Taupe’ to cart." - Mary.

9. Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color is so smooth that I forget it's on. I have it in 'Cabana' and it makes me feel like summer is in the air. I also like that the colour is on the outside of the tube itself so I don't have to sift through all my lipsticks to find it." - Nicole.

10. "Clinique Almost Lipstick - Black Honey  is getting a little too comfortable sitting in my cart, so I think it's about time I bring her home with me. I've had my eyes on this icon ever since I read Sadaf's review on Beauty IQ (influenced!). It's the most perfect '90s mulberry shade that *literally* looks stunning on everyone. Think your lips-but-better. Yes. PLEASE." - Jas.

11. "The lip gloss I currently have sitting in my cart is the Maybelline Lifter Gloss - Hydrating Lip Gloss in the shade 'Moon'. This is one of my favourites and is such a steal for its price. It creates such a nice shine on your lips without being sticky, is moisturising and it looks so cute both on its own or over your other lip colours." - Alannah.

12. “I’ll be adding M.A.C COSMETICS Lipstick Mini 'Ruby Woo' to my cart. It’s my go to for a longwearing matte red lipstick. I love it because it instantly brightens my face, it doesn’t dry out my lips and it’s the quickest way to dress up a look." - Dalal.
