This Celeb Hair Stylist’s Flyaways Kit Is the Frizzy Hair Product I Didn’t Know I Needed

If someone asked me what the one feature is you love about yourself, I would say my hair.

And if the same person asked what feature frustrated me the most, I would say my baby hairs.

If we’ve never met before, Hi I’m Alisha and my background is Indian.

Now, the product that I had been eyeing off, the flyaway kit compromised of:

After reading glowing reviews, (literally it’s got a 4.4 rating on Adore Beauty) and seeing Ms. Zendaya rave on about it, I knew I had to get this kit in my life.

Because if it’s good enough Gigi, it’s most definitely good enough for me.

How to Use This Flyaways Kit.

If you’re wondering just how to use this one, it’s pretty straightforward.

The magic cream aka social life comes in a toothpaste like tube.

After being invited to an event and watching Larry use the product himself here are some tips I picked up:

• Squeeze a small amount onto the back of your hand.

• Work the product into the toothbrush and then use it to lay edges or smooth flyaways.

• To get the best result make sure you work WITH your hair, not against it.

• For texture, work a pea-sized amount into the mid-lengths to ends on damp hair to create sexy, effortless movement.

And a bonus tip: For supermodel-esque volume, add a few spritzes of his volumising mist at the crown of the head. 

Larry King Flyaway With Me Set Review.

As I mentioned earlier, I was lucky enough to be invited to have my hair styled with the king himself and saw firsthand just how insanely good this product is.

Ever since, I can’t get enough – I literally have 3 tubes of social life, one in my purse, one in my car and one in my bathroom because it really is THAT good.

I’ve tried many a brow and/or hair gel/pomade and what I hate is the crunchy feeling it leaves behind.

The innovative thing about this product is the consistency.

It’s a tacky cream that sets the hair but still feels nice to touch.

Texture aside, the scent is divine too.

Think freshly cut grass with top notes of bergamot.

Now as someone who has a lot of hair, volume is not something I struggle with, so I use the product to help tame down the baby hairs that frame my face.

Once I’ve washed, dried, and curled my hair, I take a little between my fingers to warm up the product and then use the bamboo toothbrush to lay them down.

I’ve found a combination of Social Life + a light mist of hairspray, keeps my frizz under wraps for 6-7 hours before it needs a touchup.

And the best part? At 30ml’s it’s the easiest thing to throw in your bag for when you’re on the go or travelling.
