When I read the words “deep cleansing” on the bottle, I’ll be honest - my palms got a little sweaty. I’ve tried my fair share of deep cleansers that leave my skin feeling tight and stripped, so I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
As I used the Laneige Balance Mode Micro-foam Cleanser, my skin continued to feel lush, supple and comfortable while still getting that satisfying deep cleanse.
The formula feels genuinely luxurious - it lifts away impurities and excess oil without that dry, squeaky feeling you sometimes get from foaming cleansers. I’m really impressed by how clean and refreshed my skin feels while still maintaining that hydrated, healthy feeling.

If you have oily or combination skin and your goal is a balanced, healthy complexion, this is the moisturiser for you.
It's ultra-lightweight, almost serum-like, so it sinks in instantly without leaving any residue. The Zinc Gluconate helps absorb excess sebum, while the Rice-inamide Complex delivers hydration and strengthens the skin barrier. I actually use it in place of a serum before following with a richer moisturiser.
