Medicube has become one of K-beauty’s biggest names, but which of its viral products are actually worth the hype? I put its best-sellers to the test to find the ones worthy of a permanent spot in my skincare routine...

If you’ve spent any amount of time on
#BeautyTok lately, chances are you’ve encountered
Medicube. Maybe it was Kylie Jenner giving you a sneak peek into her extensive skincare routine (which of course, featured a few Medicube products), an influencer demonstrating one of its futuristic-looking beauty devices, or an oddly satisfying video of someone peeling off the
Collagen Night Wrapping Mask to reveal
impossibly plump, glass-like skin underneath. Ughhh, goals!
As someone who has been writing about beauty for more than 11 years (and has spent a frankly embarrassing amount of that time testing Korean skincare), Medicube is a brand that has been firmly on my radar for years. And while some K-beauty brands are all about pretty packaging and a buzzy hero ingredient, Medicube takes a much more results-driven approach, creating targeted formulas around concerns like pigmentation, pores, dullness, dehydration and signs of ageing.
The brand has also become hugely popular thanks to its ability to make clinical-looking skincare feel fun. PDRN, exosomes, peptides, collagen, vitamin C and hypochlorous acid all sound very serious on paper, but Medicube packages them into products that are genuinely enjoyable to use.
And because I’m constitutionally incapable of seeing a new K-beauty launch without wanting to try it myself, I’ve put pretty much all of Medicube’s products through their paces. Here are the eight that actually impressed me.
Medicube Best Products

Best for: Dehydrated, dull or lacklustre skin.
I’ll admit I expected to enjoy this because the internet told me I would. But I didn’t expect to absolutely LOVE it.
The Collagen Night Wrapping Mask is packed with collagen extract, niacinamide and ceramides. It starts life as a clear, slightly cooling gel, which you smooth over your usual skincare before bed. Give it a few minutes, and it dries down into a thin, almost invisible film that feels like a second skin. There’s a slight tightness when it first sets, but it’s not uncomfortable, so you can simply head off to sleep as usual.
Then comes the fun part… in the morning, the dried-down mask peels away from the skin in one thin, stretchy sheet. And yes, it is every bit as oddly satisfying as all those TikTok videos make it look. Once it’s off, my skin has a lovely bouncy glow I usually associate with having a facial.

Best for: Dullness, pigmentation and anyone whose skin hates vitamin C.
I’ve already
written an entire love letter to this cream, so I'll try to keep myself under control.
Vitamin C and I have historically had a complicated relationship (even with products upwards of $300). Most formulas I tried left my hypersensitive skin upset and covered in tiny bumps. Then I discovered this magical little jar.
Inside is a clear gel packed with tiny golden capsules containing brightening ingredients, including vitamin C and niacinamide. You mix the capsules into the gel yourself, meaning you can adjust the strength depending on what your skin needs.
I’ve been using it consistently for months and have genuinely noticed my post-acne marks fading faster, alongside a much brighter, more glowy complexion. The texture is silky rather than heavy, and the whole thing feels far more luxurious than its price tag suggests.
What I love most is that it adapts to my skin. When I’m feeling sensitive, I use more gel and fewer capsules, and when I need a deeper boost, I go in a little harder with the capsules.

Best for: Easily irritated skin, post-workout refreshes and on-the-go skincare.
If you love the viral Tower 28 hypochlorous spray, let me put you onto this beauty. I’ve been a hypochlorous acid convert for a while now, so I was very curious to see how Medicube’s version would stack up… and, dare I say, I think I might prefer it.
The main difference is that while Tower 28 keeps its formula super simple with just water, salt and hypochlorous acid, Medicube adds niacinamide, panthenol and allantoin alongside 150ppm hypochlorous acid. For me, that makes it feel a little more like an actual skincare step rather than just a soothing spray.
And because I’m constantly travelling and regularly working out, I have been glued to this product. I love spritzing it over my skin post-sweaty workout, during a long-haul flight, after a day out in the heat, or when my skin feels a little irritated. I like knowing I’m getting the skin-soothing benefits of hypochlorous acid while also giving my complexion a little hit of hydration and TLC.
Don't get me wrong, Tower 28 is still a brilliant option if you want a simple, no-frills hypochlorous spray, but for my skin and my lifestyle, I’ve been reaching for this Medicube one more.

Best for: Dry, flaky lips that need some serious TLC.
I’ve been a long-time fan of the cult-favourite
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, so I was pretty intrigued to see whether Medicube could give it a run for its money. And TBH, I think they’re pretty on par.
The Medicube PDRN Lip Sleeping Mask is glossy and cushiony without being annoyingly sticky, which is a big deal for me. I mean, there’s nothing worse than going to bed with a thick layer of lip mask on, only to wake up with your hair stuck to your lips! This one feels much more comfortable and actually stays put while you sleep.
But it’s the morning-after result that really won me over. My lips did indeed feel softer and smoother, and I’ve noticed I’m reaching for lip balm less throughout the day after using this every night.

Best for: Uneven texture and congested skin.
Having previously tested (and fallen in love with) the viral
VT Reedle Shot, I was already well acquainted with the whole microneedling-in-a-bottle sensation. So before trying Medicube’s One Day Exosome Shot 2000, the bar was pretty high.
What I can confirm is: yes, the needles do indeed needle.
There’s definitely a prickly sensation when you apply it, but as someone who has become very accustomed to these spicule-style products, I actually quite enjoy it.
I follow it with a light layer of cream and then seal everything in with the Collagen Night Wrapping Mask. After repeating this exact routine every few nights, I’ve noticed the congestion around my nose and chin have reduced, while the dry, flaky patches I’ve been dealing with have settled considerably.
Is my skin absolutely poreless? No. But it definitely looks and feels smoother and less congested, which, for me, is a pretty damn good result.

Best for: Best for: Sensitive, milia-prone under-eyes looking for anti-ageing benefits.
I take my eye cream game very seriously. In fact, almost as seriously as SPF. And as someone who has been devoted to the same eye cream for the past six years, changing things up is a big deal for me. So yes, this Medicube product had a lot to prove.
The brand has packed some of K-beauty’s biggest buzzwords into a little pink tube: PDRN, peptides and retinol. But what I actually noticed first was the texture. It’s lightweight and silky, sinks in quickly and leaves my under-eye area feeling nicely hydrated without making my concealer slide around afterwards. Tick, tick and tick!
I’m also very prone to milia around my eyes, so I’m usually wary of anything that feels too rich or heavy. Thankfully, I haven’t had that problem with this one.
The formula contains salmon DNA PDRN alongside retinol, peptides and niacinamide, making it more of a treatment-style eye cream than something you’re simply using to moisturise the area.
After years of refusing to cheat on my usual eye cream, this Medicube product has definitely made me reconsider my loyalty.

Best for: Oily, congested skin and flawless makeup prep.
I used to think toner pads were just clever marketing. I have since eaten my words.
These are now some of my favourites, particularly when my skin is feeling congested. Each pad has a textured side for gentle physical exfoliation and a smooth side for sweeping over the skin afterwards. Genius, right? The formula also contains exfoliating ingredients to help clear buildup and refine texture.
But my favourite way to use them is actually before makeup. A quick swipe leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth, and I’ve noticed my foundation sits more evenly and seems to stay put for a lot longer. It’s crazy to think an extra 30-second skincare step can make such a difference to how my makeup looks.

Best for: Dull, uneven skin and lingering post-acne marks.
If you love the
Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask mentioned above, but want something specifically for targeting discolouration, this Medicube mask is worth adding to your rotation.
I particularly like it when I have a few lingering post-acne marks, as the combination of brightening ingredients (hello, kojic acid, turmeric and niacinamide) helps to target the look of pigmentation while the addition of hyaluronic acid keeps my skin hydrated.
Like its collagen counterpart, just pop the clear gel all over your face, let it sit for a few hours or overnight, then peel it off and see what you’re left with. (Can confirm it will be a 10/10 glow.)
