IT Cosmetics CC Cream vs Your Skin But Better Foundation.

OK cool, but how is this new Your Skin But Better foundation different to the Your Skin But Better CC cream?
There are a few main differences between these two formulas, so let's break it down.
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation
Light water fluid texture.
Medium to full buildable coverage.
Natural, radiant finish.
Contains hydrating skincare ingredients.
Comes in 16 shades.
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream SPF50
Thicker cream texture.
Full coverage and colour correcting.
Natural, radiant or matte finishes.
Contains SPF50+ physical protection.
Comes in 14 shades.
As you can see in this photo below, the biggest differences are how they feel on the skin and the level of coverage they offer (the CC cream is much thicker and fuller coverage). These are 100 per cent different shades, in case you were wondering.

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation Review.
Now, onto my review. Spoiler: I'm really enjoying this new foundation.
The texture is very lightweight and has a water-like consistency, and I found one pump was enough product to dot over my face and blend in with a flat stippling foundation brush.
Considering how full coverage the original CC cream is, I was expecting the new Your Skin But Better foundation to be sheerer. It's definitely still a medium to full coverage foundation, but nowhere near as thick or zincy as the CC cream.
Here's a before and after of my skin without makeup, and with just the foundation on in the shade 22 Light Neutral.

The result? Smooth, airbrushed skin that really did look like my skin, but better.
I liked how the foundation still let my freckles shine through, but I was seriously impressed by how well the product photographed. It diffuses light really beautifully, so this would be an excellent wedding or special event foundation.
And not to toot my horn, but when I put this photo on Instagram, the foundation caused quite the stir.
*12 people messaged me wanting to know what was on my face.

If you prefer a more full coverage foundation that feels like a sheer product, this could be your new everyday base for a natural but still 'done' makeup look. I found it a little matte for my super dry skin - I enjoy a light to medium coverage foundation with a juicy, dewy finish.
Oily, normal and combo skin types won't have any trouble, but for anyone with perpetually thirsty skin like mine, prep the skin with a hydrating primer like Heir Atelier Face Primer 1oz. or a thick moisturiser to keep everything nice and plump.
Now, for the spicy question... which IT Cosmetics foundation is the best?
And look, I like them both for different reasons. Want a full coverage product that's easy to apply, will last all day and can provide extra sun protection (but still wear your regular sunscreen underneath)? Go with the CC cream.
Love a medium to full coverage foundation with a light, comfy texture that delivers a radiant yet slightly blurred airbrush finish? Then the new IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better foundation is for you.
