Most Helpful Positive

Not for oily skin, but good for dry skin
This is an incredible sun blocking product- beautiful formula BUT it is extremely heavy and thus not for underneath makeup for people with oily skin. It is ideal for dry skin. It is very effective, and well priced, but just not perfect for your every day underneath makeup routine - more for a day in the sun at the beach.

Most Helpful Criticism

Errr No....Huge ellergic reaction
The jury is still out on this one as I am trying to find out which ingredient/combination caused my face and neck to burn and itch. I am at skin flaking stage at the moment. Hence the average rating.
Firstly, what I do like about this product: The packaging and clip are excellent. Great to clip to beach bag.
The texture is quite good.
I am on a great skincare regime and purchased this product from the clinic where I have my facials/purchase skincare products. The owner rated it, so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
So, I am not sure if the combination of products clashed but within half an hour of applying, my face felt hot and a friend remarked that my skin was blotchy and red.
By the time I returned home to remove the product and place cold compresses on my skin, I had a full scale reaction. It felt like I had a bad sunburn. My face and neck alternated between red blotches, heat and itching.. Three weeks on and I've finally been able to ease back into cleanse, tone, moisturise. My neck is still red,and I am peeling. My skin looks parched.
As I pat my products on my skin, you could see the red finger/hand imprints on my face!
I am using this product on my hands and arms with no reaction. There ARE different ingredients in this product that aren't in my normal spray sunblock, so perhaps this is the cause. I would suggest testing this product on a small part of your face prior to using.
  1. dewy

i only got this recently not even a week ago and i am really impressed and happy with the product. It makes my skin look dewy and very healthy. I love the way it feels when i apply it on my skin and it gives me the right amount of dewy my skin skin wants and needs.
  2. Great

This is the best sun protector especially when using retinol type products or peels, also summer is around the corner i always dreaded the thought of sunblock on my face until I bought this

  4. Great Sunscreen

This sunscreen has a beautiful luxurious feel to it. Sinks in lovely and doesn’t leave my skin shiny or white. I use it daily under my makeup. Have tried many brands of sunscreen and this is the best by far. I just purchased my second bottle. I don’t particularly like the bottle it comes in .... I don’t clip it onto anything, although can see how it would be handy if you took it outdoors/walking/camping etc.

  6. Not for me

Too sticky/ greasy and I had a few breakouts from it. I personally like the skinstitut one much better and it’s at a friendlier price point :)
  7. too thick

I really wanted to like this sunscreen as it's a physical sunscreen and SPF 50+but Its quite thick to apply and hard to rub into the skin. I have moved on to other sunscreens.
  8. Best sunscreen on the market!

I am a sunscreen fanatic. I wear it every day - rain, hail or shine and the Aspect Envirostat is hands down the best I have tried and I have tried MANY! It has the perfect consistency, doesn't make my skin break out and has a reasonable price point. It leaves my skin feeling nice and fresh so is the perfect facial sunscreen to wear both on its own and under makeup. Highly recommend!
  9. Not for me...

I bought this because it was recommended to me by a dermatologist who promised that it would be light, non-greasy, it would dry down well and wasn't going to be heavy... So not true!
Firstly, it left a white cast on my medium-deep tan skin - not good. Took a lot of work to rub it in and then it didn't dry down fully - sure, it's not as sticky as many sunscreens but it's definitely not 'dry touch'. It felt heavy on my skin from the start and I have combination skin that got oily towards the middle of the day when wearing this.
I do like that it's SPF50 and provides UVB and UVA protection (although I can't find any information on its PA rating).
I'm used to using a Japanese sunscreen that is a third of the price, completely undetectable and SPF50 and PA++++, so this was a pretty big disappointment for me. That said, compared to other sunscreens sold locally, it's probably one of the better ones...it just didn't live up to its promises.
    Not something I'd recommend.
  10. Average

I've been through two bottles of this, as I got it from my dermatologist. It says dry touch, and while it's definitely not as sticky and oily as other sunscreens, I wouldn't say dry touch. It left me with a slight white cast and my skin felt a bit oily at the end of the day. Other than that, it's not a bad sunscreen and it does the job, I just think there's better. It also seems to run out very quickly with daily use.
  11. So wrong it’s not right

So as a pasty ginger kid I’ve tried MANY sunscreens in my life and this was one of the worst!

The super thick formula left my skin feeling heavy and chalky, it definitely left my skin looking even whiter, and it just left me looking a bit sick. It does the job of a sunscreen, but it just left my skin feeling clogged, uncomfortable, and weighed down. I tried it again after exfoliating and cleansing my skin (thinking my skin was may have needed the clean up) and still after using this product I was left with horribly heavy skin and pronounced clogged pores.
  12. Great matte sunscreen

A nice, non greasy formula makes it a great base under my tinted moisturiser. No weird white residue and has a light melony-fruit scent! Pity it is such a small tube- it is quite pricey so I tend to treat this as a face only product. If they ever sold a bulk tube I'd consider using it on my whole body!
  13. Good but not great...

It's effective in that I don't burn when wearing it and I definitely spend a lot of time sunning myself!
I don't feel it wears particularly well underneath my make up but from the price point it is very good!
  14. Light and creamy

I love this sunscreen, I used it years ago and loved the light texture of it, it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on the skin and absorbs nicely. The packaging has changed now to what I knew but having it on a caribbean is fantastic and gives me the option to use it for hikes.
  15. LOVED IT!

This product is incredible, it has the most amazing scent and it’s very moisturing and great for my sensitive skin. I have it on my keys so I never forget my sunscreen
  16. Not for me!

Pros : It doesn't have any white cast - once you take your time and really pat it into your skin.

Cons: Way too heavy, especially for summers.
It leaves my skin quite greasy and even powder doenst keep it matte for too long.
The price is quite high for what the product is worth.
    Not repurchasing.
  17. good but not suit for my dry skin

I have dry to combination skin. It is a good sunscreen that have a SPF50+. It does the job but maybe not recommended for dry skin as it enlarge the pores and made it more visible.
  18. Nice

Still smells like a sun cream, but is lighter and softer on the skin than a usual one. Handy on the little clip for your bag or gear!
  19. Best out of what I have used

Though the packaging is small you certainly get a lot out of it. It doesn't get too greasy but God help you if you forget you're wearing it and rub your face then your eyes! Seems to do the job, haven't been burnt yet or broken out.
  20. Like but not love

I have dry combination skin and always struggle to find a good sunscreen that’s not too heavy and has high SPF. I found this product to be ok, a little on the heavy side but did not cause breakouts. However I tend to use it on my neck and back of my hand more often than my face as it is a little heavy. The bottle is a bit annoying to use. It’s hard to squeeze out the sunscreen especially towards the end. Overall I like it but don’t love it so will not be purchasing again. I find the skinstitut age defense sunscreen more suited to my skin.
  21. Great hydrating sunscreen

I think this sunscreen is great to use daily and I find it to be hydrating too. I use it often as my primer under make-up during the day too and find it helps. I highly recommend this product
  22. Best

Have used many different sunscreens but this one smells, applies and works the best that I’ve used for my face. Definitely recommend.
  23. Amazing

Great face sunscreen, doesnt clog my pores or break me out. great travel size but i wish it comes in a bigger bottle!
  24. Great product

Love this sunscreen for face. Works very well and can easily wear under makeup without added shine.
  25. Great for all skin types

    This is a fantastic sunscreen.
I have oily /combination skin and have trouble with a lot of sunscreens, especially those with high spf.
This one was incredibly lightweight and breathable and did not cause my skin to get congestion and break outs.
I even finally got my son to use sunscreen daily without complaint as he loves that this one can clip onto his bag. So handy!
I wish the price was lower but I will buy again in future regardless
  26. Great SPF

I love this sunscreen! My skin can breakout easily so finding a product that protects against UV rays but doesn't upset my skin is a challenge. This product is lightweight and a lot less greasy than other products. I love it!
  27. Not as greasy as most of the sunscreens do

I bought this sunscreen after seeing other positive reviews..just thought to give it a try ..packaging is compact and travel friendly. Also the sunscreen is not greasy like most of the expensive sunscreens do ..I tried many for face sunscreen ,but this the first suncreen which felt like a moisturiser and no white cast..great thing about this product is reasonable price.even hubby liked it ..and we referred it to my Friends as well .
  28. Favourite sunscreen by far

Love this sunscreen it's one of the best that I've used so far, it smells nice, goes on perfectly well and the consistency is good as well to. Plus its small and easy to bring around anywhere you go!
  29. Amazing sunscreen and handy size for handbag or beach bag

This sunscreen is great for my oily skin it doesn’t clogg my pores like other ones do and absorbs quickly into my skin without the oily slick feeling or look.
Bonus is it’s a handy size for my handbag or beach bag so I’m never without sunscreen on hand.
  30. Great sunscreen + moisturiser in one!

I would definitely recommend this sunscreen! I have oily/acne-prone skin and this is the only high-SPF sunscreen I've ever come across that doesn't clog my pores. I like to wear this after applying my serum and just skip my moisturiser completely. A highly protective + multi-tasking product!
  31. Look no further for a face sunscreen

Perfect sunscreen for face, makes skin feel soft and doesn't make it appear ghostly. Layers very well over serums and under foundation.
  32. Affordable face sunscreen

I originally was using the Dermalogica Age Smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 which was wonderful, however, it was too expensive for me to continue using. I like the consistency of the product and it doesn't break out my acne-prone skin. it is definitely not as greasy as other sunscreens and it works well with my oily skin. The packaging is nice and very convenient as I can clip it onto my backpack or casual bags. great product. The only downside is that as I use it every day I wish there was more product in the container so I don't have to keep replacing it.
  33. doesn't clog my pores or cause breakouts!

I needed an SPF I could wear on a daily basis while running, that WOULDN'T break me out urgently. All my other sunscreens I tried engendered clogged pores which then broke me out. They sadly ruined the appearance of my skin.
I couldn't wait for the Aspect Envirostat to be delivered to me so that I could finally go outdoors in the sun again. The sunscreen smells kind of like bananas, but not overpowering or anything unbearable. I have combination/oily, sensitive and fair skin, the aspect envirostat sinks into my skin and gives me a dewy look. Other sunscreens in the past have gone patchy on my skin while working out and makes my normal skin look "dry". But the envirostat does the opposite and moisturises my skin nicely. I also put it on my eye contours too so that I am protected, however i don't go too close to my eye or else it can sting. I also love that it is waterproof which is a plus. I also want to mention that I hate the feeling of SPF on my skin, but the envirostat doesn't feel heavy at all.
Only thing i don't like is the packaging, it requires some hard-work trying to squeeze the product out.

Nonetheless, it is currently spring, and summer is along the way so I highly recommend this SPF.
  34. Perfect for dark skin

I love this SPF as I have darker skin and most sunscreens leave a white cast on my skin, which can then look a little purple in colour. Not a good look! I use the Aspect Envirostat SPF 50 with a few drops of the Medik8 B5 hydrating serum every morning before applying my primer and foundation, and it's perfect. I love that the finish isn't greasy or oily and the SPF is helping me prevent pigmentation and dark spots.

    Highly recommend!
  35. Light, dries quickly, pretty good!

Does not affect my rosacea or redness
    doesn't break me out
    No strong scent
Doesn't feel thick on the skin and non greasy, dries down rly quickly and good to wear under makeup.
    Not tested on animals!!!
My only problem is that I have sensitive eyes and if I get it too close my eyes will water for a long time :( not sure what to do about protecting my under eyes from the sun
Fairly affordable too ...I mean not super cheap but I wanted something that doesn't have that disgusting sunscreen feel like u can feel it on your face.
