What does Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Le Parfum smell like?
Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Le Parfum is a rich and intense gourmand fragrance with a seductive blend of coffee and vanilla. It opens with sweet notes of pear and green mandarin, warmed by cinnamon. The heart is a floral burst of jasmine sambac and orange blossom with solar notes, while the base features a quartet of vanillas, bold coffee, and earthy patchouli for a deeply sensual finish.
How long does YSL Black Opium Le Parfum last?
YSL Black Opium Le Parfum is a long-lasting fragrance, typically providing around 8 to 10 hours of wear. Its intense formulation means it lingers beautifully on the skin, making it perfect for evenings or special occasions. Applying it to pulse points and moisturised skin can help extend its longevity.
Is YSL Black Opium Le Parfum suitable for everyday wear?
While YSL Black Opium Le Parfum is a bold and luxurious scent, it can definitely be worn during the day if you enjoy a richer fragrance. Its sweet vanilla and coffee notes make it ideal for cooler weather, evenings out, or any time you want to make a statement.
Whatâs the difference between YSL Black Opium Le Parfum and the original Black Opium?
YSL Black Opium Le Parfum is a more intense and luxurious interpretation of the original Black Opium. While both share the signature coffee and vanilla base, the Le Parfum version amplifies the vanilla with four distinct variations, adding a creamy and decadent twist. The addition of cinnamon also brings a spicy warmth to the opening notes.
How should I apply YSL Black Opium Le Parfum for the best results?
For the best results, apply YSL Black Opium Le Parfum to pulse points like your wrists, neck, and behind your ears. These areas emit heat, helping to diffuse the fragrance throughout the day. You can also lightly mist it on your clothes for a longer-lasting scent.

Hollykaydee2 years agoThis might be my favourite vanilla perfume. I can really only smell warm, sugary vanilla and jasmine, but it's a delicious combination. Lovely in winter, but I even enjoy it during hot weather. It's strong, and projects well for about 6 hours on me.
