If you are using The Ordinary Rice Lipids + Ectoin Microemulsion for the first time, perform a patch test before applying it to your face. Apply a small amount to a discreet area and check for any signs of irritation before regular use. Step 3. Apply a few drops of The Ordinary Rice Lipids + Ectoin Microemulsion to your face and neck using clean fingertips. Avoid direct contact with your eyes. Step 4. Gently smooth the product over your skin until absorbed. Do not rinse off. Step 5. Follow with a moisturiser if additional hydration is needed. Apply moisturisers, creams or facial oils after the microemulsion. Step 6. Use The Ordinary Rice Lipids + Ectoin Microemulsion morning and evening as part of your skincare routine, or as directed. Step 7. If using the product in the morning, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen as the final step of your skincare routine before makeup or sun exposure. Step 8.
