Did you know that roughly 45 billion period products go into global landfill every month? Old-fashioned pads and tampons can take anywhere from 500-800 years to decompose, causing irreparable damage to our beautiful planet.
In 2017, the founders of Love Luna saw an opportunity for a sustainable, reusable and affordable solution in the form of period underwear. They set about researching, testing and designing products that were leak-proof, comfortable and sustainable.

How to use Love Luna Period Underwear

It's washable, reusable & easy to care for. Rinse your Love Luna period briefs with cold water as soon as you can after removal until the water starts to run clear. Pop them in a Love Luna Washbag with the rest of your washing and wash with like colours on a cold water cycle (max 30 degrees).
Wash before wear. Cold delicate machine wash with like colours. Do not add softener. Do not soak. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

I went through four brands purchasing a few different styles. These were rated for varying levels of flow and made of different materials. Each pair were at different price points due to materials, flow etc. Love Luna's full brief provides the best protection for me. My body structure means that my flow, likes to FLOW out and cover as much real estate as it can. I am confident that there won't be any leaks. The Love Luna undies also are in the best condition of all the brands in my drawer. I have settled on the heavy/overnight options for my period undies as I am anxious with a lesser level of protection. Love Luna is so comfortable. The other brands I've tried have left me sweaty and uncomfotable. Not to mention the several blind spots of acne that appear on the areas covered by the undies that come up really quickly.

These are great undies for woman who leak urine most of the Time. they keep me dry and also stop my long pants from getting wet and smelly. I have another brand which I purchased online also. But the Love Luna knickers fit better, are more comfortable and do a better job. Thank you to the designer and then to those that make the product happen and distribute it.

It was my first time using period undies so I was a little sceptical about the whole process but honestly I'm converted. They're so comfy and take away the 'nappy' feeling you get with pads. They're last 5-10ish hours just depending on your flow. Easy to rinse then chuck in the wash.
