I love being able to take the brush apart for a good cleaning. It's a bit of a struggle to get the rubber pad back in place, but perhaps it'll get easier over time. I've read that wetting it can help it glide into place, so I'll give that a try. I also like being able to customize the number of rows of bristles. This feature is probably most useful for people with super thick, textured hair.

While this brush works well enough on tangled hair, I find it a little too scratchy on the scalp which means I don't reach for it very often. I have fine hair that is very prone to tangling after washing. I've used this on both damp and dry hair and found it is effective in removing knots from my hair but the bristles are just way too irritating to my scalp. I also think this is a little overprice...

This brush is so cheap and horrible. The bristles are so hard and scratchy. I'm not sure why it's advertised as being super soft. It's far from! It's not worth $30. My kids hate it.
