at first glance the giant jar is off putting but once trying the product, a little bit goes a long way! feels great on the skin and i wake up with soft supple skin in the morning. i wouldnt recommend it as a day moisturiser but its fantastic before bedtime. it didnt seem to sit well underneath tinted sunscreen/pigmented products. definately adding this to my daily routine and adding more avene pro...

Lightweight moisturiser

I love this as a more affordable moisturiser. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate it at all. It feels so smooth on and soaks on nicely. The only thing I don't love is the packaging. It's really bulky, and whilst I love that you're able to buy refills I do find the pot comes out sometimes, just need to be careful. Packaging wouldn't be ideal for travelling. Other than that I would highly ...

Hydrating Firming Luxury Gel

The Avene Hyaluron Activ B3 Gel cream is a lovely hydrating product. This product is thick, creamy and has a light refreshing scent. Great for those with sensitive skin like myself as i had no reactions to this product. The Cream Gel is thick and works into the skin well i would add this to my night time routine but found it to heavy for my morning routine. I would recommend to those with fine lin...

Nourishing, super hydrating day moisturiser
Zoe L2 years ago
I loved the texture of this cream gel - super light and non greasy. My skin felt so hydrated and happy all day. When I apply it, this cream literally feels like I'm giving my skin a big drink! (maybe because it contains spring water). As I've got older my skin has become a bit more dull and flat and dry in areas. This cream definitely provided the moisture I need as-well as leaving my skin looking...

Didn't really like it

I love Avene products generally, the French know how to do pharmacy level beauty so well, however this has a very strong fragrance that put me off. Too chemically for me. It is quite moisturising to be fair, but it's not for me. I was gifted a product sample for to trial and review.

I have been using Avene Hyaluron Activ B3 Renewal Firming Cream for a a couple of months and am surprised by how much I am loving it. In the past, I have not been a fan of heavy creams which come in pots and would not usually have considered trying it, however this cream has converted me. This snowy white cream comes in an elegant glass jar and despite its appearance has a light velvety silky smo...

Love the Avene brand its a favourite in my daily skincare routine as I really think the French understand how to help their customers reach their skincare goals. I tried the Hyaluron Activ B3 Renewal Firming cream for a week now and I have noticed that my skin feels smooth and hydrated. I really like that you can buy refills which is such a clever idea as it eliminates waste. I will continue using...

Great moisturiser

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks. It is packaged in a clear glass jar and its thick consistency makes it easy to take just the right amount. It also means you'll be able to use every last bit. I found it great to wear under makeup because it absorbs quickly to a matte finish and didn't make my skin shiny or greasy. My skin appeared firmer and fine lines less visible. My skin di...

I recently turned 60 and found that my skin needs changed in the last ten years. My skin felt thirsty so I was on the lookout for a product that moisterised my skin and worked well under my makeup. The Avene Hyaluron ActivB# Renewal Firming Cream did not disappoint. I have been using it for the past 12 days and from the first application it felt luxurious when applied to my skin and worked beau...

A bit greasy but worked quite well

I tried this Renewal Firming cream and I found it to have a nice smell and it worked quite well on my skin to reduce wrinkles and make my skin feel more rejuvenated, smooth and firmer. However, when I applied this cream it was very greasy and took a long time to absorb into my skin. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.
Dramatic results
Sam H3 years ago
If you need an extra hydration boost, this is an excellent firming cream and daily moisturiser. The 2 active ingredients in it are B3 (Niacinamide) and Hyaluronic Acid, which I find have the most dramatic results on my skin, so I am always looking for this combo when shopping for moisturisers. I have been using it for a few weeks and my skin feels firmer and it has definitely kept the fine lines ...

Firstly, I was gifted a product sample to trial and review but dont let that put you off! This cream is so nice. Thick enough to feel capable of addressing my skins needs but readily absorbed instantly Pleasantly scented too. Would love a pump dispenser on this product but as mentioned I guess it is a little dense to pump out easily- perhaps a flip top lid...?! The pot inside the outer shell pops...

Average - didn't find a difference

Used this product in conjunction with the Multi-Intensive Night Cream and the Concentrated Plumping Serum. The packaging - it's a small plastic jar inside a larger glass jar which made me feel that you would pay more for the packaging than the product - very disappointing however, the product does last. I apply the product onto my face with a foundation as the small plastic jar makes it difficult ...

As you age you want an everyday moisturiser that's simple, easy to apply and that really helps keep your skin feel and look hydrated, happy and healthy. I've been using this cream for a few weeks and I have noticed that my skin looks brighter and more radiant. When I apply it, it seems to inject an instant glow without any sting or irritation. It's deceptively light and feels like it's filling in ...

I have been using this product for just 2 weeks and have already noticed my skin feels softer and more toned. It has a lovely light perfume and absorbs easily into the skin not leaving a heavy feel on skin. Would like it to have a little SPF in it especially for day wear. Also like the pump action on night cream and wondered why the day cream was not the same
Love it!!!

Loving this new day cream from Avene, it isn't too thick and glugy that leaves any after greasy feel. It leaves your skin really hydrated and moisturised all day, your makeup goes on well after use also. Fine lines are starting to look a little better as my skin firms up. Highly recommend!!! I was gifted a product sample to trial and review

I really love the reusable packaging of the cream as much as i loved using this as a base for my makeup - as the cream says on the jar. I have been using this cream for two weeks now. What I love is that the cream really soaks in and leaves no oily residue at all, something which is hard to find in a face cream. What is unusual is that the cream is so thick and normally a cream this thick would make your face feel heavy and look shiny but it just doesn't. But the best part is my skin is so soft, smooth and plumper. I can't stop to...
