Parsley Seed Facial Cleansing Oil is a universal product suited to all skin types and all climates. This remarkable oil-based formula contains water-soluble surfactant that allows it to rinse off cleanly. It is ideal for daily use; cleanse morning and/or night as desired. Aesop recommend the following instructions for use:
- Main method (as per product label): Rub half a teaspoon of cleanser between damp palms until a milky emulsion forms and massage gently over the face and neck. Rinse off thoroughly with tepid water.
- Alternative method (beneficial for makeup removal): Dispense cleanser directly onto a damp cotton pad and wipe over skin, then rinse face thoroughly with tepid water.

I received this cleanser as a gift after complaining about skin sensitivity. It is nice and gentle, and cleanses well when you are not removing makeup. For me, if I need to remove makeup then I use another product or pre-cleanse. I love the smell and how this product leaves my skin. My only problem is that I think you need to use more than is recommended and that could make it last less time.

This is by far a favourite cleanser. Using it was like a ritual for my face. It melts a full face of makeup away with ease. The consistency isn't thick either so it doesn't feel cumbersome and it washes off your face well. Great smell too.

I received a sample of this but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. It smells lovely, it feels lovely and doesn't dry out my dry/sensitive skin however I found it didn't remove all of my makeup and I had to cleanse twice. It is nice and gentle on your skin but I prefer a more foaming cleanser. Would work great if you were after a gentle cleanser for sensitive skin.

I love the nourishing nature of this cleanser but I do have to double cleanse if im wearing makeup. This one emulsifies with water in the palm on my hand & needs a lot of water splashed on the face to remove. So i apply it and rinse it off in the shower, but wish it had a more shower-friendly bottle (not glass).

Totally worth the money - I live in rural NSW and have combination skin that is always out in the sun and getting clogged up by dust. This is very hydrating and gets all of my makeup off easily. I really like all Aesop stuff and this is no exception. Previously, I was using coconut oil to remove makeup/ sunscreen and then a cleanser but found the coconut oil a little heavy for my skin and broke out. This is lovely and light, you only need a few drops so it will last for ages. It is great at cleaning off makeup or as a gentle cleanser in the morning. I would recommend this.
