This face cream has a lovely matte finish, working to minimise shine and reduce the appearance of pores. To apply, simply pump 1 to 2 pumps into the palm of your hand, and massage into skin. Wait 5 minutes for the product to absorb before following with your makeup application. If your skin is unpredictable, oily in some areas and dry in others, or you're prone to breakouts, this Aesop moisturiser is perfect for you.

If you're looking for an even lighter formula than this, you can opt for the Aesop Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum or the Lightweight Facial Hydrating Serum. If you prefer a creamy formula, then In Two Minds Hydrator is the lightest moisturiser with the Aesop offering.

I have the occasional small breakouts on my chin. and I still get blackheads on my nose and chin, and I sometimes suffer from the oily t-zone, but this cream left my skin mat and smooth. However, it did leave my skin feeling tight so I hope I don't dry my skin out. It smells great, and I would recommend this to those who are concerned with acne and oily skin.

Love this moisturiser, it's one of the only ones I have tried that actually works under makeup. It does not make your skin extra oily, which is a great concern of mine as I am prone to the oily T-section!

I use this as a base under light makeup on my combination skin. It's hydrating enough but doesn't leave my skin oily even on a hot day. It however is a bit drying in winter so I have to opt for something else in winter.

I have combination skin and this is the perfect everyday moisturiser for me. It smells lovely and soaks into the skin nicely - great under makeup. When Melbourne weather gets a bit cold and windy I do sometimes have to use something a little thicker/more nourishing on top. But perfect for most of the time.

This is a nice hydrating moisturiser and not too thick. It spreads easily across face and you don't need to use a lot for coverage. I personally wouldn't buy this product after receiving the tester only because I wasn't fond of the smell. It's a very herbal/woody smelling cream and I just prefer other scents. Others may love the smell so might be worth a try.

I usually love everything Aesop and whilst I liked the scent and consistency, it just wasn't all that hydrating. I put another cream over the top about an hour after this. And I have combination skin. Wouldn't recommend for anyone that needs a decent amount of hydration.

I was given a sample of this product and wasnt too excited. I had never used Aesop before but now I have done some research and its a great brand. Im not sure if this product is a serum or moisturiser but either way that is easy to find out. It has a herbal smell and is lovely. Id happily give it a go again as it felt nice on my skin.

This Aesop Hydrator smells amazing, I loved applying it on my skin after cleansing and toning. It instantly absorbed into my face and neck and the more I massaged it the more it relaxed my face. It also gave me a fresh hydrated look in the morning.

This really smells delicious, and i look forward to wearing it for the smell! It is also great for my oily skin, as it does not feel like i am wearing anything (other moisturisers make me feel oily). I have sensitive skin and it does not irrate my skin at all. I would reccmond this :)
