The long-awaited, much-anticipated first release of candles from the scent-creators at Aesop. Known internationally for the sumptuous scents of their skincare and body care, these elegant and considered candles are a welcome addition to their range. This iteration is woody, earthy and green. An instant classic.
Woody, earthy and green, Aesop Callippus Aromatique Candle contains strong echoes of Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash and Balm, with added notes of Frankincense and vibrant Shiso.
On first use, burn Candle until the entire surface melts. Subsequently, ensure wick is trimmed to a maximum length of 5 mm, to help prevent smoke and residue. If necessary, re-centre wick with care after extinguishing the flame—while wax remains molten. The vessel can be kept looking its best by wiping clean with a moistened microfibre cloth
The vessel can also be repurposed should you desire - In order to repurpose the near-empty vessel, hot water may be poured inside to allow the wax to melt, rise to the top and solidify for easy removal. Following this, Aesop recommend washing the vessel in warm soapy water

James4 years agoI simply adore this candle. Though certainly expensive, it is a full bodied fragrance which spreads throughout the room with ease. The aroma is also unlike any other candle I have ever used, I particularly love the Frankincense in it. Also, it burns and dries flawlessly.
