I've been using NIOD's Copper Amino Isolate serum for 5+ years now. When I first started, I was looking for a preventative anti-aging serum suitable for oily skin - but this serum is SO much more than just anti-aging. At first I noticed my skin was less oily across my cheeks and T zone, my annoying dry patches calmed down, my skin looked brighter, and after around 4-6 weeks my complexion evened out. I definitely notice after a day or two when I fall off the wagon with my skincare and skip this serum. Aside from calming oil production and brightening my skin, this serum is AMAZING for breakouts and blemishes. The antibacterial/antimicrobial properties of the copper isolate has been significantly more effective for my skin than other brands I've tried. Somehow it's even effective for hormonal breakouts as a spot treatment. I use this serum on dry skin immediately after cleansing, before any other thicker serums and any creams. The blue colour from the copper is gorgeous and doesn't cause any staining, on either skin or fabrics. The serum itself is incredibly thin, almost the same viscosity as water, so a little goes a VERY long way. Using the dropper it comes with to apply it directly to my skin seems to be the best way to avoid wastage. I shake up my skincare routine and try new products occasionally, my career as a Dermal Therapist helps me keep up with current research - but this product always remains part of my routine. A single 30mL bottle lasts anywhere from 6-9 months for me, so it's well worth the price. If I had to choose just one serum for the rest of my life, it'd be this one.

I have used this consistently every day for a few months now and I still have melasma on my top lip. I know it's quite stubborn to remove but I wouldn't say I have not seen enough of a difference to say this product works effectively.
