I used the online Find Your Shade tool to select a Makeup shade and was very pleased with the result. The suggested colour blended well and was a great match for my skin tone. The Double Wear Stay-in-place Makeup was a good consistency and easy to apply with complete coverage. The matte finish and oil control resulted in a natural look and the hydration left my skin feeling smooth. I also appreciated some sun protection. The glass bottle did make it a bit hard to get just the right amount but starting lighter and building up overcame this. The Makeup stayed in place and looked as natural at the end of the day as it did when first applied. This Makeup is highly effective, a pleasure to use and in my opinion, worth paying a bit more for. I received this product from Estee Lauder to review and appreciated the opportunity to try it.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Longwear Matte Foundation
$79.00A strong choice for every day wear
I was excited to be asked to try this foundation and provide genuine feedback. I used the original formula of this 10 years ago when my skin was more youthful and found the coverage better, but this new formula I believe is better for more mature skin like mine now at 36. The product is creamy and soft, applies really well with a flat foundation brush. I would love if the product came with a pump as the texture is very liquidy. It lasted very well on a 33+ degree day in Sydney, I used the colour match online and unfortunately found it slightly more orange undertone than I had hoped which was exhasperated through the day. Overall it didn't exaggerate any creases and wrinkles which is very important. There are ethical and moral considerations I would weigh up when it came to repurchasing this product.

I purchased this hairspray in Dec 2025. The spray itself is perfect for my shoulder length, fine hair, a nice amount of hold while still allowing movement, great scent. HOWEVER - I don't know if I received a defective can, but it is constantly blocked! When I try to spray it just fizzes at the nozzle. II took it to a stockist who could only follow KM directions in cleaning tip and as can was under half full they would not replace it. Worked for one blow dry and then back to constantly blocked. Only trick was to remove top every time and soak in bi-carb, vinegar warm water and hurray spray came out for one use. Really turns me off this product for the future.
