Shop Niacinamide and Vitamin B Serums

Niacinamide is vitamin B3, so you'll see it sold as both a niacinamide serum and a vitamin B or B3 serum. It turns up in skincare for a good reason: it suits a lot of different skin types and is used in formulas aimed at excess oil, uneven tone, dullness and a worn-down skin barrier. If you're hunting for the best niacinamide serum, the honest answer is that it depends on your skin and what you want it to do, so the sections below should help you narrow it down. Adore Beauty is an official stockist, so you can compare simple 10% niacinamide serums with vitamin B formulas that add hyaluronic acid or panthenol, all in one place.

    Popular Niacinamide Serums

If you want a straightforward formula, The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is a best-seller that targets blemishes and balances oil production. The Skinstitut 10% Niacinamide Power Serum is another high-strength option, made to support the skin barrier and restore balance. For something more hydrating, the Viviology Niacinamide + HA Serum combines a triple hyaluronic acid complex with niacinamide and panthenol. The Alpha-H Vitamin B Serum has 5% niacinamide plus hyaluronic acid, and it's designed to hydrate and even out the look of skin tone and texture.

Choosing the Best Vitamin B Serum for Your Skin

Start with what bothers you most, and don't try to fix everything at once. Oily or blemish-prone skin tends to suit a niacinamide and zinc formula, while dry or dehydrated skin usually does better with a hyaluronic acid blend. If you're mainly after a more even tone, browse pigmentation serums, and for breakouts see the anti-acne serums. A higher percentage isn't automatically better. If your skin is sensitive, a lower strength is an easier place to begin. Prefer extra moisture? Our hydrating and hyaluronic acid serums are worth a look too.

How to Use Niacinamide in Your Routine

Apply your serum after cleansing and before moisturiser and sunscreen. Many people use niacinamide with other actives such as vitamin C serums, but it's sensible to add one new product at a time and patch test first. If you have a skin condition like acne or rosacea, check with your GP or dermatologist before changing your routine.

Frequently Asked Questions About Vitamin B and Niacinamide Serums

What is the best niacinamide serum?

It depends on your skin. For oily or blemish-prone skin, The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is a popular pick. If your skin runs dry, a formula with hyaluronic acid, like the Viviology Niacinamide + HA Serum, may suit you better.

What does a vitamin B serum do?

Most vitamin B serums are built around niacinamide, which is vitamin B3. Some also add panthenol, a form of vitamin B5. They're commonly used to help balance oil, support the skin barrier and even out the look of skin tone.

Can I use niacinamide with vitamin C?

Many people do, and plenty of routines include both. If your skin is sensitive, introduce one product at a time and patch test first. A GP or dermatologist can advise if you're unsure.

A very important step in my skin routine

This is such an amazing spray and is a very important part of my morning and evening skin routine. After and LED mask or just after cleaning face, I will apply hyaluronic acid and snail mucin. I'll wait for them to absorb a little and then I spray this truffle spray. A couple of minutes after that I continue with whichever serum is scheduled for the day, sealing it with a light moisturizer and spf. I've been very consistent with my routine and can't imagine taking care of my skin without this spray. Another way to use it is if make up looks a bit cakey and dry, I would recommend spraying this on top to make you look fancy and hydrated. Gives a really healthy glow. Love love love
