My KORA Organics Turmeric Glow Moisturiser Review.
My main skin concerns are dullness and hyperpigmentation. I already use and love KORA products, but I sent my KORA vitamin C serum, turmeric exfoliant and Noni oil on annual leave for a couple of weeks to road-test this product.
First, we have to talk about the packaging because this is one of the bougiest, most luxurious clean beauty products I've ever tried.
The fact you can refill the crystal tub rather than throwing it out when you're done is really important for me because I try to reduce waste in my lifestyle where possible.
I heard Miranda Kerr uses this moisturiser in the morning under sunscreen and at night as the last step before bed. So I did, too.
As promised, my skin felt plump, dewy and hydrated. I could also see a visible glow immediately. No makeup needed.
The product has a thick, nourishing consistency that glides onto the skin like butter on warm sourdough (or if you're like me, Nuttelex on gluten-free toast).
It sinks in quickly, and good thing because it's easy to use too much - a pump applicator would have been more functional, but not nearly as pretty.
I found the moisturiser layered well under sunscreen and makeup, and didn't leave a white cast or any yellow tinge. At night, you can apply a thicker layer for an indulgent, comforting hydration mask feeling.
And the peppermint scent is subtle but refreshing, and strangely comforting at the same time. Close your eyes and you could be getting a deep tissue massage at an eco retreat.
So, who will love this moisturiser?
Anyone looking for a multi-purpose product that can be your glowy day cream, hydrating night cream and hyperpigmentation treatment all in one.
Normal to dry (and maybe combination) skin types who want to brighten the appearance of dull skin.
People like me who are trying to transition to a clean, sustainable skincare routine... but still want results from products.
People also like me who are CHASING. THAT. GLOW.
