What Osmosis Skincare Moisturiser is best suited to my skin?

If you have oily, combination or blemish-prone skin…

Osmosis Skincare Quench Nourishing Moisturizer is ideal for use on an oily, combination or normal skin type and adequately hydrates skins of these types. It’s also great for those who have concerns with blemishes, experience dehydration and would like plumper, juicier skin without the extra oily. It has a lovely refreshing citrus scent, and can be enjoyed by skin of all ages.

If you have a normal or dry skin type…

Osmosis Skincare Hydrate Plumping Moisturizer is the perfect moisturizer for you. It still has a light texture, but is enriched with Organic Shea Butter to deeply nourish your skin. It’s also got some peptides in there, so it will serve as a fantastic anti-aging moisturizer alongside your serums and will smooth skin, restore resilience, and enhance elasticity in the skin.

If you have a dry to very dry skin type…

Why do I need to use a moisturizer if I’m using serums?

Serums are designed to target specific skincare concerns - for example, pigmentation, blemishes, aging etc - and they do this job really well. Their thinner texture is potent with active ingredients, and penetrates deeper into the skin to deliver the actives where they will be best used by your complexion.

Serums, however, often don’t house a lot of hydration and aren’t necessarily tailored to your skin type. Additionally, they are meant to penetrate the skin - they’re not hanging around - so won’t treat that top layer of skin that protects you from your environment.

Moisturizers, by contrast, are tailored to your individual skin type - be that oily, combination, normal or dry. They equip your skin with the adequate hydration and oil levels that it needs to function optimally, and also act as a physical barrier between your skin and the world around it.

Sometimes, your moisturizer will have additional benefits that will seek to treat a skin concern - anti-aging moisturizers are a great example of this - however, in these cases, your anti-aging moisturizer is usually supplementing and supporting your existing serums, rather than playing first fiddle.
