We fluff them, shape them, pluck them and tint them, and they have the power to frame (or fudge) your face.

Yep, you guessed it. I’m talking about your brows!

Figuring out how to do your eyebrows can be tricky terrain to navigate. But don't worry.

If you're wondering how to best sculpt, fill in, or just generally deal with those hairy arches above your eyes, your brow education starts here.

With National Brow Day around the corner (October 2nd), I went ahead and asked my AB colleagues to share their best brow tips.

We hear the cries of you and your untamed, sparse and/or misbehaving brows, and we’re here to support you both.

From the best way to fill in sparse brows and how to tame unruly brows, to the best brow products for brow volume, here are 26 of the best brow hacks and products we've found over the years.

1. "I honestly think anything ABH (Anastasia Beverly Hills) is a must for brows! Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer is fab for defining brows and filling in sparse areas, whereas the fine tip on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz allows you to create super natural, fine hair-like strokes."

"Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze is amaze for the fluffy brow trend that's everywhere at the moment, and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel - Clear 7.93g is a must for keeping everything in place!" - Nikkita.

2. "A hack for unruly eyebrows: use an eyebrow gel. It may seem obvious to some, but I only started using Benefit 24 Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel a year ago and it changed my life! Just brush them up with a clear gel to look put together." - Madison.

3. "Always tint your brows a few days in advance, so you don't look like you have two thick caterpillars on your face." - Bec.

4. "Only have 23 brow hairs like me? Benefit Gimme Brow + Fibre Gel might just be the best thing ever. I find that if you brush it upwards, wait for 30 seconds and then brush in the direction of your natural eyebrow shape, it really thickens the brow." - Chloe.

5. "Always find a space with great natural light to pluck your eyebrows." - Beth.

6. "The Anastasia Beverly Hills Golden Ratio method is great for brow shaping." - Megan.

Learn how to do the Anastasia Beverly Hills Golden Ratio method in the YouTube video below.

7. "If you're an oily person and find that your brows get shiny around midday, pop translucent powder on your brows. This also works great to soften the look if you've gone in with a heavy hand." - Chloe.

8. "Want to keep your brows in place EVEN longer? Once your brows are gooped up with Benefit 24 Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel and you're happy with where the hairs are pointing, press them into your skin/forehead with a clean finger." - Liz.

9. "Backcomb your brows for a fuller and fluffier brow look, then brush in the direction you want your brow hairs to sit. MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Resist Brow Fixer is my favourite brow product right now. The small, angled spoolie makes for a perfect application." - Marie.

10. "For a very natural fill in on sparse brows, draw soft, short strokes upwards and outwards using your desired pencil. Huda Beauty #BOMBBROWS Microshade Brow Pencil is very fine, then finish with your clear brow gel of choice." - Sam.

11. "My go-to brow gel has got to be the Benefit 24 Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel - a crowd-pleaser for good reason! Perfect for those with thinner brows like me who want to achieve a more natural-looking version of the laminated look. It also keeps my brows in place all day, and there’s no trace of brow dandruff, which some brow gels can give you." - Sadaf.

12. "Fibre gel products like Huda Beauty #BOMBBROWS Full N Fluffy Fiber Gel are great for finishing if you want fuller brows. The little fibres look like brow hairs!" - Sam.

13. Beauty IQ writer Amelia gave us this Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze hack for how to avoid gunk accumulating in your Brow Freeze pot. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Applicator has a spatula on one side for scooping product out, and a spoolie on the other for brushing.

Watch how Amelia does it in this video below...

14. "I’ve been trialling the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Genius Brow Serum for eight weeks, and can vouch for Nikkita’s amazing ABH Brow Genius serum review."

"This stuff works! My brows are fluffier, and the front bits don't look so sparse anymore. Truly genius." - Sadaf.

15. Resident brow expert and cosmetic brow tattooing artist Lily from our Customer Experience team shared her expert brow plucking tips:

"Don’t pluck into your brow shape, but rather just clean up the hairs around the edges that are out of place. Instead of eye balling where you should pluck, I highly recommend you fill in your brows like you normally would, this will ensure you aren’t going to touch a hair that shouldn’t be touched."

"Always use a pair of slanted tweezers like Modelrock GOLD LUXE - Slanted Tweezers and pluck after a warm shower when the hair follicles are soft."

Side note: When I asked Senior Editor Amy for her brow tips, her exact words were, “I was made for this.”

She has a treasure trove of great brow hacks, tips and recommendations she has collected over the years, and it would be remiss of me not to list them all.

Let's fire them off to you one-by-one!

16. "The best tip I learnt from a Benefit makeup artist for filling in and defining patchy but bushy brows (aka me) is to take your brow pencil and outline your brows."

"Start at the base and draw all the way along underneath, and then do the top but only from the arch outwards (kind of like doing a winged liner). Then, take a clean spoolie and brush everything upwards to distribute the pigment evenly."

17. "Speaking of spoolies, they are the most underrated beauty tool in existence. Doing my brows without a spoolie brush would be like leaving the house without pants on. Then I add the fan favourite Benefit 24 Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel - I love the bristles on the spoolie applicator."

18. "As a redhead with a warm complexion, I like to have my brows tinted a slightly darker cool shade of brown because I find it adds a nice contrast - auburn brow tints can also go real gingery, real quick."

19. "If you have your brows tinted and shaped, ask them to apply the tint first as this will bring out all the little fair fluffies that need to be waxed, plucked or threaded. I also recommend wearing mascara or a bit of makeup on the days after having them tinted as it softens the 'holy crap my brows are so dark' feeling."

20. "I love using Benefit Gimme Brow + Fibre Gel for in between eyebrow tints, but I have an application trick. Pop the product onto the brow (it doesn't have to be super neat), then use a clean spoolie to brush it through. This gives me a natural look and avoids depositing too much product at once."

21. "Keen to try Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze and find out what all the fuss is about? Don't do what I did and dunk your spoolie in the gel before whacking the whole lot on your brows. You will look like you've been electrocuted. Less is more with!"

22. "Life admin time-saving hack: I like to time my lash lifts and brow shaping appointments together so they can do your brows while your lash lift is processing."

23. "Tinting your eyebrows at home? Apply Vaseline or a barrier product around the brows with a cotton tip to avoid staining the skin. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 Balm works well if you've got it handy, or even Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask would do the trick."

"Apply an at-home brow tint like Ardell Brow Tint by painting over your brows using an angled eyeliner style brush. Leave on for less time than you think, remove with micellar water and a cotton pad, then brush your brows up and suss the colour in natural light. You can always add more, but it's very hard to go back if you leave the tint on for too long."

Amy also breaks down the difference between Benefit brow products in this YouTube video below.

Finally, let's finish off with some very useful tips from Benefit’s National Brow & Beauty Authority Samantha Tonkin:

24. "Brows are essential to framing the face, so if you are removing hairs outside of your ideal brow shape, ensure you are not using a magnifying mirror. Getting too up close and personal to your brows can give you a warped perspective in relation to the rest of your face."

25. “If your brows are too thin... invest in a brow lamination, or instead, find a volumising product. Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Pencil is perfect to use on a thin and over-plucked brow as the microfibres in the pencil help to add extra body."

26. “When drawing on eyebrows, choosing a brow product that will stick to the skin is important. Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil is ideal for fine hair-like strokes that will last for 12 waterproof hours."

And that, dear friends, brings us to the end of this brow hack roundup!
