Before Olaplex, there was Redken Cat.

Before Olaplex, there was Redken Cat. This was the go to product to save fried and over processed hair. The product to turn to before you had to cut all your hair off. It saved my hair for 15 years, and continues to do so to this day. That’s why I give it 5 stars. Just make sure you only use it as per the instructions on the back and use a moisturising conditioner after, and you will be pleasantly surprised at how much strength it returns to your hair.

Its good

Works well. It's a liquid spray. I never finished the bottle though, I prefer cream treatments.
  1. Good product

    Justine

I’ve only used this a few times but really like it and have noticed less breakage. The packaging is not ideal for use on the shower but otherwise I’d recommend it
  2. A great protein treatment

    Hana

I have naturally very dark hair that has been bleached to platinum blonde. This product is a great protein treatment to use in conjunction with a moisture treatment and a bond rebuilder. I try to use it once a week. The spray bottle can be difficult to use in the shower with wet slippery hands! I also have quite thick hair so need to section my hair and apply to ensure it's dispersed evenly. Once ...

  3. This has a super classy scent with a sweet fresh edge to it.

This has a super classy scent with a sweet fresh edge to it.  The bottle is a cool transparent blue and the application is via a spritzer nozzle which is excellent quality.  After I've shampooed my hair I just squeeze the excess moisture out of  it and then spritz this all over, making sure I get the lengths and ends fully.  I then wait up to five minutes but three minutes does the trick.  Then I ...

  4. Great protine hit for the hair!!!

Great protine hit for the hair!!! I like it best when used with a moister shampoo. Smell is devine, not to strong.

  6. Incredible treatment for fine split and dry ends

    Rachel

I found out about this from my hairdresser at Tigerlamb. Tigerlamb salons only use the best products. You should be careful with using this as it is an intensive protein treatment, and it is not designed to be used often. My hairdresser explained you can actually damage your hair if you over use this product - use once per month only. It leaves your hair feeling fresh and soft.

  8. Ok

    Fleur

This is a good protein treatment for your hair if it’s been damaged, bit confusing as spray in is usually a leave in treatment but this one needs to be rinsed out. Does leave my hair feeling soft and strengthened, I have colour treated hair
  9. The best protein treatment I have tried

    Tennille

You should give it a try especially if you colour your hair
  10. Great

    Simon

I bought this a few weeks ago and it's amazing. My hair feels amazing after the treatment.
  11. I would buy this again

    Alex

After I shampoo I towel dry my hair and I apply and comb through my hair. I leave it on between 5-15 minutes and then I rinse my hair. It's great for adding body and repairing damaged hair.
  12. Works well!

    Kellee

My colorist and stylist recommended that this was added to my wet hair after coloring and before cutting. My hair is thick, wavy/curly and coarse. I actually leave the product in and don't wash it out because my hair is thick and coarse enough that it does not feel greasy. Thinner, less coarse hair would need it to be rinsed out. I love this product. It has helped so much with being able to detang...

  13. Good protein treatment for bleached or damaged hair

    cel

When my hair is feeling particularly dry and/or damaged, I use this spray once a week for about 4 weeks at a time. I have read that too much protein can cause your hair to feel more dry and gross, and this routine seems to work for me. The bottle is a bit awkward to hold up to your head and pump with wet hands so try spraying it into your hand and then distributing through hair. Definitely rinse...

  14. Great product

    Kirsty

I tend to prefer Redken's Extreme Anti-Snap Leave-in Treatment to this, simply because I think I've been using this in the wrong way! This is good as a strengthening treatment prior to chemical processing etc., while I've just been spraying it on willy-nilly. I think this is better suited to people who blow-dry, straighten or dye their hair, to strengthen and reconstruct the hair cuticle. It's not...
