The best protein treatment I have triedYou should give it a try especially if you colour your hair
GreatI bought this a few weeks ago and it's amazing. My hair feels amazing after the treatment.
I would buy this againAfter I shampoo I towel dry my hair and I apply and comb through my hair. I leave it on between 5-15 minutes and then I rinse my hair. It's great for adding body and repairing damaged hair.
Works well!My colorist and stylist recommended that this was added to my wet hair after coloring and before cutting. My hair is thick, wavy/curly and coarse. I actually leave the product in and don't wash it out because my hair is thick and coarse enough that it does not feel greasy. Thinner, less coarse hair would need it to be rinsed out. I love this product. It has helped so much with being able to detangle my hair, which becomes a rats nest after coloring and now after highlighting. I used it every other day and my hair is less damaged than ever before.
Good protein treatment for bleached or damaged hairWhen my hair is feeling particularly dry and/or damaged, I use this spray once a week for about 4 weeks at a time. I have read that too much protein can cause your hair to feel more dry and gross, and this routine seems to work for me. The bottle is a bit awkward to hold up to your head and pump with wet hands so try spraying it into your hand and then distributing through hair. Definitely rinse it out as it's meant to be used between shampoo and conditioner.
Great productI tend to prefer Redken's Extreme Anti-Snap Leave-in Treatment to this, simply because I think I've been using this in the wrong way! This is good as a strengthening treatment prior to chemical processing etc., while I've just been spraying it on willy-nilly. I think this is better suited to people who blow-dry, straighten or dye their hair, to strengthen and reconstruct the hair cuticle. It's not a 'leave-in' conditioner, necessarily, which is what I was using it as. That said, it is another excellent product from Redken.
