Great alternative

Abbey

Wasn't sure this would work, but it definitely helps get me between washes. My hair doesn't look as fresh as dry shampoo, but I like the silkiness this leaves me with if I don't want the matt look powders can give you.

Nice idea but just ok

Jane

I wanted to love this dry shampoo because I liked the concept. But it just didn't do much for my thick hair that starts to look oily after two days. Using it on day 2 after washing made my hair look fresher on day 3, but couldn't say the same about using it on day 3. I found that it worked better if I sprayed it in my hair before going to sleep rather than in the morning when I noticed how oily my hair looked. I like how light it feels, the easy application and lack of strong smell. It just didn't quite work for my hair.

  2. Nice but high price..

    Joel

Steep price for a dry shampoo. I definitely think there are many other dry shampoos that work just as well for a way lower price! It’s good but I think you can save money on different products!
  3. It's okay

    Mel

Not as effective for oily hair as the powder formulas, but it doesn't leave that white-powdery look on hair which is nice. Doesn't leave any kind of residue in the hair at all really, which is good - doesn't make my hair look worse. Expensive for something that's only works.
  4. Only good for when your hair starts looking oily

    Carmen

I purchased this product because after colouring my hair, I wanted to prolong the time between washes. I normally wash my hair every two days but when I stretched it to 5 days, i used a lot of traditional powder dry shampoo which would build up in a horrible way. So I tried r and co - loved the concept as the liquid form means that it is lighter and I don’t get that gritty build up. However, it’s not something I can replace my batiste with completely as it will only be effective on the days where your hair starts getting oily. It does take away some oil and your hair feels very natural. However on day 4 when the oil levels really starts kicking up, this won’t do anything and you’ll need to bring back the batiste.

All in all, still happy with it for that specific purpose in my routine as it means less powder product sitting in my hair by the end of the week.

  6. Honestly Surprised

    Dee

I didn't think that I would like this - but I was very pleasantly surprised. I have very oily hair and as long as I can remember I have washed it everyday of the year. The last couple of winter's I have been experimenting with different dry shampoos with varying results. This one actually seems to absorb the grease without leaving a white cast or some sticky residue. I would definitely buy this again.
  7. Undecided

    Dee

It doesn't leave a white cast or sticky residue - but I wouldn't say it got rid of a lot of greasiness. And the price doesn't help. I certainly wasn't wowed enough to say - yes this is the one.
  8. Meh

    Jo

I really wanted to like this but i honestly don't find that it does anything. It smells good but my hair doesn't feel any cleaner and it's super pricey too. Would definitely not repurchase
  9. Much better than most

    Shannon

I'd done lots of research before purchasing, I find traditional aerosol dry shampoo makes my hair white and my scalp dry and just doesn't do the job. This is a bit more of a time investment - like some of the reviews I recommend blow drying after use but it's worth it! Probably only buys me an extra day or so but that's all I need.
  10. Unlike any other dry shampoo

    Linda

I have oily hair which I need to wash every day. In the past, I have tried 3 different brands of “dry shampoo” and have been unimpressed and disappointed each time. When I read about this product being different from other dry shampoos, I was skeptical. But I am SO glad I tried this! This actually works!! I don’t use it on a regular basis, only when absolutely needed, but it really keeps the oil at bay for at least one extra day.
  11. LOVE IT!

    Holly

This mist is amazing, smells nice and fresh I love spritzing it in the AM before I tie my hair back in a pony for the gym. It really works, removing any oily residue on the scalp. I love it and will buy again!
  12. Didn’t work for me

    Marg

I’m a huge fan of r+co products and love their dry shampoo powder so thought I’d try this out. I followed everyone’s recommendations in the reviews by using a hair dryer after application but it just didn’t do anything for me. My hair felt worse and oilier than before. The wet formula just didn’t do enough for me. I’ll try it a few different ways as I’m determined to make it work.
  13. Not as convenient as regular dry shampoo

    Renee

I have fine hair that gets oily easily. I am a regular user of dry shampoo as a time poor mum and gym goer. I do like this product for the results but because it’s best when you blow dry hair after use it isn’t always convenient if you’re tying to quickly revive dirty hair and get out the door.
  14. Pretty good

    Roxybella

I have fine streaked shoulder length hair usually wash every day. Gave this a try and am pleasantly surprised. I did blow dry my hair with styling brush after spraying. I followed instructions spray blend in and leave for a while then blow dry with my brush. Not as good as a fresh hair wash but pretty good. I found this better than dry powder cleansers and powder sprays.
  15. Fabulous

    Jenni

I have a lot of hair but it's quite fine and ends up with a oily sheen at the roots the day after washing it. I'm so glad I've tried this dry shampoo mist because it's so much more than your average supermarket dry shampoo. It also lasts much longer than those brands. I've been using my bottle for the last 3 weeks or so now and I've hardly noticed the level in the bottle move. Admittedly I'm only using it 2-3 times a week.
Highly recommend you give this a try this product if you're already using dry shampoo regularly. There's no white powdery residue left behind and if you give your hair a quick 30second cool blast with the hair dryer to set the mist you'll never even know you've sprayed anything in there!
  16. Works ok but might depend on hair type

    Jenny

I’m always excited to try a new dry shampoo but I was disappointed with this dry shampoo mist. I have oily, thick hair and generally use a dry shampoo to extend my blow dry by 2 or 3 days. This product worked ok for me. After massaging the product into my scalp and blow drying, my hair looked a bit limp and looked like I had a bit of product build up in my roots rather than clean hair. Maybe this doesn’t work on very thick hair or i’m using it wrong. Also, don’t forget to shake the bottle before use, as the product seems to seperate in the bottle!
  17. Luxurious and effective dry shampoo

    Camilla

    - key is to add it in and blow dry your hair. Means you never get white or spray marks.
    - creates a much more natural look than other dry shampoos.
    - smells amazing and perfect for freshening hair up
-does leave residue and builds up in scalp, so it’s not perfect but will use again
  18. Winner winner

    Lauren

I feel that this is a real winner for me. I had to stop using powder/aerosol dry shampoos due to scalp sensitivity which led to hair loss (!!).
My hair is fine and usually 1 or so days after a wash I am noticing oiliness.
I spritzed this into the roots (sectioning hair) and used dryer on cool setting. It gives a bit of grip and volume into the hair which I’m always wanting from styling products anyway! And theres just no powdery residue.
If you want silky soft hair this may not be for you as it does give a bit of grit and texture.
  19. Ok

    Lydia

It’s ok. My hair extensions hated it, but I did find on my normal hair it felt good the next day and was thicker.

It isn’t my favourite product. I’ll just stick to a good leave in conditioner on the non wash days with the Oribe dry shampoo.
  20. Works best when blow dried!

    Jaynie

After watching reviews etc on this product I was really excited to try it. Some of the reviewers said they went a week and hair still felt fresh. Unfortunately I can get three days wearing my hair down but after that it’s a no go. So in saying that I’ve only ever managed two days so am happy with how it works. It does work better if you spray and then blow dry the roots. It doesn’t leave a powdery feel like the sprays and it’s colourless too. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 if I could. Worth a try as I think these things work differently for different hair types.
  21. Loving this new wave of 'wet' dry shampoos!

    Kishlette

This is definitely not your average dry shampoo!
I have fine, black hair that usually gets pretty oily after a day or two without washing. I rely on dry shampoo a lot, even though it's a fine line between acceptable looking hair and a grey, dandruff-looking mess with stiff, heavy residue. I love R+Co so I was immediately excited by this product - it looked like it could eliminate all my issues with traditional aerosol dry shampoos.
It took a few uses to figure it out. The trick is to fully wet the roots, then vigorously/roughly massage it into the scalp... For best results, don't stop tousling until the hair is completely dry.
There is a residue but it's not an offensive one - it gives a bit of stiffness/hold to help with styling. No hint of grey, no heaviness or tackiness...just a good amount of texture, volume and easy styling. Amazing.
You do need to be generous with it but the bottle is pretty big. You'll get a lot of uses out of it - which is good because it's not the cheapest product.
This new wave of liquid and mousse dry shampoos are great for people with dark hair; this and Sachajuan Dry Shampoo Mousse are my two favourites. They do take a little more effort than traditional aerosols to massage through but the result is significantly better.
Highly recommended particularly for those with dark hair who struggle with white cast.
  22. Good and no Chalky feel

    Dry Conditioner

Good dry shampoo, a bit pricey. Doesn't leave a chalky feel or white powder. Can be used multiple days in a row.
  23. New Holy Grail!

    Aly

This dry shampoo mist is a must have! I gym in the mornings before work, a little spray of this in my roots, rub it around and quick cool blow dry makes my hair look and feel so light, fresh and soft - no one can tell you had sweaty gym hair that morning. I love that it leaves no dry powdery build up in your hair at all.
  24. Am I Using This Right?

    Jennifer

I purchased this because I am sick to death of that gritty/powdery feeling that can be left behind when using regular dry shampoos. ...But not enough to actually wash my hair more.

My scalp feels good after I use this, but I don't think there is any change in how my hair itself looks or feels. I'm not sure if I'm using this wrong, but I really wanted to love this, so I will keep it up!
  25. Actual magic!

    KRISTEN

I was so excited to try this but it was sold out for so long. Let me tell you it’s worth the wait. Oily roots are banished with a few sprays followed by a quick blast with the hairdryer.
  26. Love Love Love!

    Ash

Having a busy schedule doesn’t leave me a lot of time to wash my hair multiple times a week, however this baby saves me weekly it’s great! My favourite part about this product is instead of getting that build up of powder spray dry shampoo causing a super itch uncomfortable sculpt you spray just a small amount of this massage into sculpt, put the dryer over it to really active it and bam it’s like you have fresh hair and no issues with your sculpt. Worth every penny!
  27. Great

    John

I use this after the gym and it's a great dry shampoo that instantly refreshes my hair and scalp
  28. Does nothing!

    ka-te

Am I doing something wrong? This product does nothing at all and seems to be just very expensive water. Sticking with my supermarket brand dry shampoo.
  29. A complete game changer!!!

    Elle (Adore Beauty Staff)

I was recently asked to be part of a content piece challenging us to see how long we could go without washing our hair. Usually, I wash my hair every 3 - 4 days, so if I could last longer than that, I was going to need some seriously good dry shampoo.

I was originally a non-believer as it was so different to what I’m used to. To my surprise, it completely refreshed my hair and scalp. The oil-slick look was banished, and my hair looked and felt completely refreshed. I had volume in my roots, and my hair was left smelling fresh.

    Big tick from me!

Ps. I managed to last 8 days thanks to R&Co.
  30. Very impressed!

    Amy

This product has definitely surprised me. I have never used a dry shampoo before and was honestly a little sceptical if they would be worth it. Since recently going back to the gym, I can no longer get away with the once per week wash - my scalp becomes far too itchy from sweat so when I saw this product pop up, I had to trial it and am really quite happy. The dry shampoo component works super quick and dries fast as well. Because this particular dry shampoo is a mist rather than an aerosol, it has a soothing effect on the scalp which was really the biggest bonus. It has a light coconutty fragrance too which is nice.
