Beauty industry veteran Lilli Gordon launched First Aid Beauty, often shortened to FAB, in 2009 with dermatologist Dr Robert Buka, after struggling to find skincare that suited her sensitive skin. Many of the Ultra Repair formulas are built around colloidal oatmeal, and the range covers moisturisers, serums, exfoliating pads, cleansers and body care.

Ultra Repair Moisturisers for Dry Skin

The Ultra Repair Cream is a rich but fast-absorbing moisturiser made with colloidal oatmeal and ceramides. It is designed to give up to 24 hours of hydration and can be used on the face and body. For fine lines, the Ultra Repair Firming Day Cream combines collagen, peptides, niacinamide and colloidal oatmeal, with a matching Firming Night Cream. If your skin runs oily, the Oil-Control Moisturiser is an oil-free formula that mattifies and reduces the look of shine. The Rescue Barrier Balm uses dimethicone, colloidal oatmeal and glycerin to hydrate and protect dry skin, including skin dried out by retinoid treatments. The Oil-Control Moisturiser also helps reduce the look of pores, so it can sit in a routine for combination skin.

The Dark Spot Serum uses niacinamide, licorice root and golden kiwifruit to reduce the look of dark spots and even out skin tone. The Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum is a lightweight, non-sticky formula with hyaluronic acid, squalane and colloidal oatmeal. For exfoliation, the Brighten + Glow Facial Radiance Pads use glycolic and lactic acids to smooth and brighten, and the Ingrown Hair Pads use glycolic and salicylic acids for use after shaving or waxing. The KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub is the brand's best-selling body exfoliator. It combines lactic and glycolic acids at a combined 10% with pumice buffing beads and vitamin E, so it exfoliates both chemically and physically to smooth rough, bumpy skin. It is listed in 59ml and 237ml sizes, and it is a good match for the body routine you build around the moisturisers above.
