HOW TO BURN To get the best results with Black Blaze scented candles, we suggest that you burn your candle for 30 mins to 60 mins during its first burn until the wax has completely melted and the top of the candle has liquified, forming a “burning pool”. The “burning pool” formed for your initial burn is important for subsequent candle burnings. The uneven surface may cause Inconsistent burning, flickering flames, and black soots. Unlike the cotton wicks, patience is required for the first burn. Wooden wicks may take up 3-5 seconds more to catch fire than traditional cotton ones.
