This did tone my hair, however my hair felt like straw afterwards! Crunchy and gross and not smooth at all. I got this as a sample and had to re-wash my hair the next day so it wasn't so dry and crunchy!

I received this as a sample with an order. I used to use Matrix more than 5 years ago as the price point is ideal. I was surprised by the quality of this duo, as a lot of purple shampoos are very drying. This product is not my first priority but if you're looking for something that does the job, this is it.Not bad

I've used this product in the past on my hair, and while I thought it did an okay job, I definitely think that the Matrix Total Results Brass Off Shampoo is better at reducing brassy tones on my hair. I have dark hair that I have lightened so feel this doesn't 'hold' the tone on my hair overly well. Would probably be better suited to someone with a different natural hair colour.Perfect for my grey hair!
Have been using for about 6 months now. Love it! It keeps my Grey hair looking sharp. Never dull. I feel my hair is in much better condition after using this shampoo. I found this to be more hydrating than other purple shampoos I have used.
I do find that Fanola works better at getting rid of brassiness.

This is within my heavy rotation of silver shampoos.
I love the tones this gives me hair and feel that personally it's not as drying as other brands.
It is so dark and truly eliminates any brassy tones!

This shampoo, is excellent value for money! I used to buy Joyco and it would sometimes over tone my hair, but I've found that the Matrix so silver shampoo, tones it evenly and removes the yellow tinge from my hair! Its absolutely my favourite and always use it before events!Didn’t love it

I have bleached ombre hair that is also quite dry and frizzy due to chemicals. This toner makes my hair so soft and a beautiful blonde colour and doesnt dry it out. After a week i have noticed my hair is less brassy too.Great toner!

I originally purchased this by accident but what a great ‘mistake’. I have natural dark blonde hair and often have ash blonde highlights. This shampoo keeps those highlights looking fresh and new right up to my next hair appointment. It also adds a nice tone to my natural unhighlighted hair and overall it looks fab. If you have yellow tones throughout your hair, so silver is a great shampoo to neutralise those tones while keeping your hair feeling soft and clean. The real MVP. I’m a natural light-medium blonde with platinum highlights, and this keeps the brass away. Fudge brand violet shampoo is great too, similar price point. I find it dries my hair out slightly more than normal shampoo, so I use Argan Oil after a wash to keep my X-long locks in check. 10/10 would recommend. Been using for 10 years +.Good value for money
I have been using this for the last 12 months.. I find on its own it didn’t correct my gold tones as well as I wanted so have since paired it with a blonde conditioner (fabuloso) for every second wash. I’d rather spend more money on the conditioner then other silver shampoo worth more money and gave the same results.
