Most Helpful Positive

Great colours, long-lasting

Georgia

I have this in 2 shades and love both. The formula is matte without being drying and super long-lasting.
I dont generally wear a lot of makeup so I like to just apply a little to the centre of my lips and then smudge it out and it makes a really pretty matte stain.
When wearing to a special occasion I will apply more and it lasts the whole night without transferring on to glasses and only really comes off if you eat something greasy/oily.

Popping shades, matte and light, not really what I like though

  2. Not quite what I thought a crayon lipstick would be like

    Karen

Drier than I thought and harder to apply accurately without mirror
  3. Not bad

    Abbey

Good but not as good as the original lipstick range, good coverage and pigment but a little harder to use.

  5. Fairly disappointed in the colour and formula

    Katie

I bought this in the spicy coral colour hoping it would give me a matte coral colour that would last. I found it to be fairly drying and the colour was an off-putting orange red (which I thought would suit my skin tone, medium beige). I'm sure the other colours are better, maybe the lighter coral, but honestly I wasn't impressed with the formula enough to try the other colours. I felt I looked like a bit of a clown even with the "soft" application and then it just felt uncomfortable on my lips. This one was a miss for me!
  6. Unsure

Not sure about this..... the colour is way darker than was expected.
  7. Great shades

Lovely colours which don’t easily smudge or crease. Has a great lightweight feel.

I just noticed how many reviews on here are from us, hahaha! Obviously there's probably some inherent bias in that, but I hope you'll hear me out.

These are really, really good. I don't actually like matte lipsticks, as I prefer a glossy finish to the lips. For what its worth though, my previous favourite matte lipstick pick was the Gerard Cosmetics one, and then I discovered the Maybelline one which beat that one by a hair - Gerard being better for comfort, Maybelline being better for longevity.

These MUFE Artist Lip Blushes are matte lipsticks, if matte lipsticks were absolutely versatile and completely lightweight on the lips. They feel like a whisper on the lips, and have that delightful kind of blendability and slip that i associate with lipsticks that are creamy in texture.

These are thin, but spread a long way. When built up to full opacity, they don't bleed, however they're not transfer proof! They are however really comfortable and flattering, and don't emphasise dry patches.

I strongly prefer them blotted down however, worn like a stain. I have the colour Spicy Coral and it is STUNNING - it is actually straight up the same colour as a favourite from Dior that they discontinued, and I just need to pop on a bit of balm or gloss and boom! Instantly my old favourite is recreated.

You can wear them as blush as well if you want! I only tried it once and I found it lasted incredibly well, and didn't transfer. Not sure about the other colours though as I haven't tried them.

Anyway - gorgeous product, I love it, and I think you will too.
  9. Everything I want in a lip crayon

    Alexina (Adore Beauty Staff)

Sometimes I think I've tried every single jumbo lip crayon on the market - and there have been a lot!

These set the bar very, very high - no other formula I've tried has managed to nail the combination of pigmentation, long wear time and a weightless feel on the lips.

The texture feels quite dry yet somehow still creamy, and it glides on very easily and never feels drying - it really is weightless to wear.. You can get opaque colour in one coat and if you want a sheerer, more stain-like look you will only need the tiniest amount.

These would be great for travel, you can wear them so many ways and could even use them as on the cheeks - just be sparing as a little will go a long way!
  10. Creamy, pigmented and comfortable

    Hannah (Adore Beauty Staff)

I tried the shade 303 which is a lovely coral red colour! It's so creamy and pigmented, and also very comfortable on the lips too!
I've also tried applying a lip balm beforehand and it provided a lovely shine to the lips with a pop of colour.
  11. Perfect for handbags!

    Taylah (Adore Beauty Staff)

This is the perfect product for on the go, it is a lip liner and lipstick in one. It gives a beautiful matte finish without the dry texture some lipsticks can leave behind.
The application is simple- it has a tapered tip which allows for precision and is mechanical (wind up) which means - no sharpener needed!
  12. Beautiful velvet-matte crayon

    Kristy S (Adore Beauty Staff)

This lip crayon is easy to apply and glides onto the lips with ease. It is super hydrating with a velvety matt finish that I love.

I have fair skin and blonde hair and the colour number 201 looks great.
I will definitely be buying more colours in the range.
