Dervish is a gorgeous pinky-mauve and a really flattering, wearable shade. The pigment is excellent and it gives me a nice clean line without having to keep going over the same spot. My only slight issue is that the pencil started off very pointy and a little firmer than some of my other liners, so I feel like I need to wear it down and break it in a bit. It does blend out, which I really like, although not quite as effortlessly as some other liners I own. I suspect that may improve with a bit more use. Overall, I'm really happy with it. The colour and pigmentation are the standouts for me, and I can see this becoming much more of a go-to as I wear it in.

I love this liner! Syrup has become one of those products I reach for constantly because the shade is just perfect for me - a beautiful soft pink that works with so many of my lipsticks and glosses. What I really love is how versatile it is. I can use it just to define my lips, blend it in for a softer look, or use more of it across the lip and change the whole look of whatever I put over the top. The formula applies smoothly, is easy to work with and wears really well without feeling overly dry or harsh. The pencil / crayon itself is simple, classic MAC packaging and does exactly what it needs to do. I use this so often that for me, it's absolutely worth the price. One of my favourite lip products and definitely a shade I'll replace when I finish it.
