Not great

Bristles are far too short for an even application, not a great brush

  2. Couldn't find a use for it

    Kishlette

I own a lot of MAC brushes and like most of them; this was the exception. I bought this to use with liquid or cream foundation but I just couldn't find a good use for it. It's very densely packed and the bristles are short; that means that it's incredibly firm. It doesn't blend anything out well whether you use it to buff or to stipple; it's too firm to buff with, as it moves the product around too much, and it's too small to stipple with, taking far too long to get decent coverage. The MAC 170 is a far better brush. The only thing I could use it for was to paint on cream foundation before blending out with a sponge - but I wouldn't buy it for that as it holds too much product. I ended up selling it. It is a good quality brush and, if you can find a use for it, it'll last you a long time.
  3. Liquid foundation application was a little streaky.

l really wanted to love this MAC brush as I'm a long-time MAC devotee. Unfortunately, it left very noticeable streaks when applying liquid foundation. l had to go over the whole application with a Beautyblender to even it out which defeats the purpose of using the brush in the first place. Disappointed!
