Great!

Diego

Great texture and high spf. I use it daily. Perfect for my sensitive skin, it has a great texture and doesn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts.

Most Helpful Criticism

Good but oily

Bianca

I usually use La Roche's melt in SPF and I love that. This one is a little too oily for my combination skin unfortunately and made me break out (which my skin hasn't done in a long time). I recommend the melt in cream far more than this one.
  1. Didn't cause any irritation

    Kylie

I received a sample of this the other day and found it to be gentle on the skin. It didn't leave a white cast like most other sunscreens and didn't give me a rash or any other sort of skin irritation. Most importantly it stopped me from getting sunburnt on a hot day recently - so it works!
  2. Great sunscreen - didn't leave any shine

    Laura

Really like using this sunscreen. My skin felt protected without having a super heavy shine or sheen from a facial sunscreen. Just be careful around the eye area - I always have issues with this but overall would recommend.
  3. My go to sunscreen

    Kelly

Use this SPF daily. I have combination skin and it suits my skin perfectly and sits well under makeup.
  4. Great!

    Diego

Great texture and high spf. I use it daily. Perfect for my sensitive skin, it has a great texture and doesn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts.
  5. Very good

    Line

Finally found a high protection, hydrating cream that is not only suitable for darker skin but gives me a healthy glow. No stinging or running eyes. It does transfer a little but washes out.
  6. Love this

    Carly

It needs to be tapped into the skin otherwise it can pill. I don't find it too oily at all. My skin almost absorbs it right away when tapped! Love this
  7. First sunscreen I would happily wear all day

    Ems89

I was a bit sceptical with a daily face sunscreen as part of my skincare routine. This is great, 50 plus, rich so not drying but isn't heavy or oily. Good for my normal or dry skin. Small is neutral. Will definitely buy again.
  8. Great sunscreen

    Tiarnah

This is a great sunscreen. It doesn’t leave my skin with a super oily feel. This product is a consistent repurchase
  9. Holy Grail Sunscreen!

    BNovembre

I can’t gush enough about this sunscreen! It’s the only one my sensitive skin loves, it’s hydrating and glowy! WHO NEEDS MAKEUP when you have this baby in your skincare arsenal!
  10. Perfect for sensitive skin

    Tina

A few years back I had a really hard time finding the right sunscreen since all the ones I had tried had irritated my skin and within 30mins of applying my whole face would become tomato red. In fear I had stopped using sunscreen for a while until a pharmacy staff had recommended this brand to me. This product has a cream like formula that absorbs quite quickly into the skin and doesn't leave me w...

  11. Doesn’t irritate sensitive eyes

    Elle

Ok so like all other sunscreens have irritated my super sensitive eyes, so much so that after application, I’d be tearing up for more than half and hour, so I stopped applying so closely (not good) and it still irritated! This doesn’t at all! It absorbs quickly and I’m satisfied with the texture. It is advertised on the package that it’s for sensitive eyes, which isn’t obvious in the description.
  12. Trustworthy sunscreen

    Eva

This sunscreen does not sting the eyes unlike the anthelios xl sunscreen which is amazing because the eye area needs protection as well! It does feel like you are wearing a mask on your face as it is quite heavy (I would recommend skipping moisturizer even if your skin is dry). It's a bit hard to spread out but there's no white cast or streakiness. Makeup doesn't sit very well on top of this. I fe...

  13. Does her job!

    Nikkilee

I haven’t had issues with white-cast or anything and it looks nice and glowy on my dry skin. I haven’t found a way to make it sit under makeup nicely however. It is lasting a while and has a good level of spf so I feel protected when wearing it. I don’t know if I will repurchase I’ll keep trying others out I think.
  14. On my second tube

    Arie

I love how easy it is to apply this product, it spreads and sits nicely on my skin. Some people mention it's oily which I agree, but personally i think it gives a healthy glowy look. I'm on my second tube, would definitely repurchase.
  15. very suncsreeny

    Hannah

I got a sample of this from my Dermatologist who highly recommended it. Gave it a try. Not too sure about using it under makeup for everyday use - it feels very heavy and sunscreeny under makeup. I kept it and use at the beach or by the pool when I know I need the 50+ and are happy to wear a sunscreen without makeup over the top.
  16. Best sunscreen I've used.

    Belle

I LOVE this sunscreen. I get irritated by most products in my eyes, and this does not create any stinging, burning or irritation. A good price range for the high quality, and lasts about a month to six weeks if you use it every day. I have combination skin and isn't too oily, but gives a nice glow for under makeup or just by itself. Will definitely buy again.
  17. Excellent sunscreen

    Rose

I’m in my late 20’s and have just started taking skin safety seriously. I wanted a sunscreen I could wear daily under my makeup and this one does the trick. It has a high SPF and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. The pump makes it easy to control how much comes out. Love it.
  18. Good for face

    Mark

This is a nice face sunscreen. It's not as thick as most sunscreens. I use it on my face - smells good, not oily, rubs in well without being all white. Just be careful not to get it near your eyes.
  19. High spf

    Emily

I love that the spf is so high but I found it really difficult to spread across my face. It’s exttemely thick and tacky
  20. Fairly good sunscreen

    Bridget B

This sunscreen is extremely thick, but it did not irritate my skin as much as other sunscreens from La Roche Posay. I've used up my bottle, but don't think I will purchase again as there are other sunscreens for sensitive skin that don't feel so thick.
  21. Favourite Sunscreen ever

    Rhi

I have very normal skin, hormonal breakouts, not particular dry or oily. I do notice when i use new products i usually break out but never with this one. i don't wear makeup often but when i do this sits under it nicely and it has a nice clean smell
  22. Blends Very Well

    Lai

I was quite hesitant at first to order another brand of facial sunscreen because I have experienced on my 2 last brands that if not blending well with my moisturizer. This one is light, easily blends and doesn't leave any residue in the face. Very invinsible that i can put over my liquid foundation or BB cream smoothly. With 50 SPF in it and mild smell, I'm very happy with the product and will be ...

I have sensitive skin and this does not irritate or break out my skin
  24. Good but oily

I usually use La Roche's melt in SPF and I love that. This one is a little too oily for my combination skin unfortunately and made me break out (which my skin hasn't done in a long time). I recommend the melt in cream far more than this one.
  25. Good but a bit oily

    Minka

Good sunscreen for your neck and body but I wouldn't wear it under makeup because it's a bit oily.
  26. Not sure about smell

    Larissa

I received this as a gift with purchase. It works well on my normal to dry skin, & does not pill when applying over my serums. The only thing that bothered me was the smell which is quite strong and a bit chemically.
  27. great sunscreen

    harli

great sunscreen for people who suffer dry skin or eczema
  28. Definitely yes

    Natalie

I have used this sunblock for the last couple of years since receiving a sample from my dermatologist. He suggested using it instead of day cream. It has a great moisturizing base and since using it I am having a much longer period between laser visits,
Previously I did not use sunblock daily as it built up on my skin too much.
  29. Great sunblock that doesn't irritate my skin

    Nerida

I have been getting dermatitis around my eyes from my normal sunblock. I have been wearing this for a week in Winter and my skin is happy with it. I have dry skin and the formulation feels good. It doesn't create that heavy mask feel and I like the pump pack. It is more expensive compared to supermarket brands but I find the pump means I am not wasting any.
  30. Great

    Peter

The only sunscreen I can use. Everything else I've tried has stung my eyes, my skin, or been terrible under makeup.
  31. Little thick

    Bette

Have used heaps of different La Roche-Posay products, this one was a touch thick for me but still went on really nicely, but there are some others from the range that go on more smoothly on my skin tone, I have an oily t-zone (especially in summer) and I found this didn't absorb as well on my t-zone as other La Roche-Posay products.
  32. Sensitive?

    Nawapar

I got an extremely dry and sensitive skin, got this as a sample and decided to try it out, i got a reaction from it so not sure if it really suits sensitive skin. Maybe its just my bad skin day.
  33. Good but a bit oily

    Jessica

This is a great sunscreen but I wouldn’t recommend wearing it under foundation as it’s a bit oily
  34. YAS!

    MikI

Easy to apply and reapply, lovely finish, and ophthalmic tested, this product hits the trifecta!
I am a sunscreen fanatic and always have this in my kit :)
  35. It's great for eyes!

    Linda630

I bought this specifically to use around my eyes - as I have normal to oily skin, I knew it would be too greasy for the rest of my face, but I was tired of stinging, teary eyes from other sunscreens, so tried this. After a week of applying this only on and around my eyes, then using other sunscreens on the rest of my face, I am very pleased to have no more stinging but still have sun protection f...

  36. Not great for my skin type

    Swan

I’d been recommended this product as a everyday spf cream so decided to purchase it. I usually rarely get pimples however as soon as I started using this product I got a bunch of little red pimples or spots all over my face within a few hours. I’m sure it works well for some
But really messed my skin up!
  37. Not for me

    Bec

I really wanted to love this product after hearing many good things about the brand. It is way too thick and greasy on my oily combo skin, feels quite heavy as I usually use a very light-weight sunscreen. Had to eventually stop using it as I developed a bad reaction to this product. I had red spots all over my face - which got worse with daily use.
  38. Does the job!

    Annabelle

I've been trying out different sunscreens for while because I have mild acne and most sunscreens tend to make my acne worse. I really like this sunscreen because it's not very greasy and doesn't seem to affect my acne. Even so I always make sure to double cleanse at night just to make sure it is all off my skin. In terms of results, I have been using this sunscreen consistently for 1 year and am v...

    Dianne

I had a skin reaction to this product, may have been too heavy for my skin.
  40. Great facial sunscreen

    Bec

This is a beautiful suncreen that doesnt leave behind a greasy film or smell strongly like normal suncreens. Glides on smoothly and doesnt leave behind white marks, I use this everyday underneath my makeup and it works great.
  41. If you need something strong!

    theresa

Great sunscreen goes well with make up on top. Can be a little thick so if you are sensitive don't go overboard!
  42. LOVE!

    GW

I love this product. I have normal/dry skin and most sunscreens -- especially physical sunscreens -- dry the crap out of my skin and emphasize my pours/fine lines after a few hours, but this is beautiful and keeps my skin moisturised.
It is shiny when you put it on -- but it is a sunscreen. I usually wait a bit and then blot away some of the shine away.
You can use it under makeup, b...

  43. Sun cream that feels nice

    Julia

I have sensitive skin that is easily irritated. I love this product because it's helped me stay sun safe without the need for being extremely overpriced or gritty. It has a nice, smooth feel when applying.
  44. Nice product but not what I was looking for

    MB

This is a nice product but not exactly what I was looking for. I have normal-dry skin and was looking for a BB cream with SPF and iron oxides, so this fit the bill from that point of view. This product will certainly give you a 'glow,' which you may not enjoy if you have oily skin and/or want a matte product. It was also more sheer than I expected and I was hoping for something with a little more ...

  45. Ok..

    Niezl

I have a normal, oily skin. Oily on t-zone. This product was good, absorb in the skin, no stickiness, no fragrance. The only thing I didn’t like is look shiny after i put it on, and even if it absorbs in my skin. But it is still a good product. Didn’t break me out. Probably won’t purchase again, but will definitely Try other La Roche Posay sunscreen.
  46. Perfect long wearing spf

    Kat

Love this! It's ideal for sensitive skin and perfect for wearing daily alone or under makeup as it doesn't leave you looking or feeling greasy either way.

The back doesn't say to reapply after only four hours either which is a welcome change form most other sensitive skin sunscreens I've tried; instead if you get wet, towel dry or sweat excessively you will need to reapply so I don't...

  47. Fab for eczema

    Clare

I got this for my 5 yo son who I've struggled with to find suncream that doesn't make his eczema worse. I was recommended this specific one by a doctor. I've only had it a few days and it has been a God send. He doesn't react to it at all, even on his face. It doesn't dry the skin out either which can aggravate eczema. I wish I could get a bigger tube of it as I think I'll be using quite a bi...

  48. Nice consistency and great protection

    Ashley

This product feels much lighter and less greasy than most sunscreens which I appreciate as my skin is oily and usually breaks out quickly with any heavy cream. It has a lovely light consistency and really does melt into the skin quickly. It is meant for normal/dry skin so it might be slightly too heavy for my oily skin but I did appreciate the absorbency and the high SPF factor is excellent. I wo...
