Skin Stressed Out? This Jurlique Range Boosts Radiance & Targets First Signs of Ageing
I'm Adore Beauty's resident beauty newbie. Before working at Adore, I was travelling the world for 4 months with just one tiny tube of Jurlique moisturiser. I washed my face with warm water and used olive oil as a deep conditioning treatment. Oh, how things have changed!

Jurlique products have been passed down from generation to generation in my family.
My earliest skincare memory is of my mum lying in bed smoothing her Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Day Cream onto her face.
She always had two bottles - the bottle beside the bed and the emergency bottle in her bedside drawer.
Even now, she is never without two bottles and has sworn by this moisturiser for decades.
How many decades? That’s a secret between my mum and Jurlique.
I’ve always thought of Jurlique as a ritual skincare brand - the divine smells, lovely textures and luxurious oils are what I think of when I think of their products.
I recently bought myself a bottle of my mum’s ride-or-die Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Day Cream moisturiser, and I can see why it’s got cult status.
When I was asked to trial Jurlique’s Herbal Recovery Range, which targets dullness and helps prevent the early signs of ageing, I jumped at the chance to put their new range to the test.
Here are my honest thoughts.
What Is Jurlique’s Herbal Recovery Range?
This innovative new range was created to help the skin recover from common stressors like air pollution, lack of sleep, stress, UV and temperature changes.
It’s these lifestyle and environmental factors that impact skin health and accelerate ageing.
With these stressors in mind, Jurlique created their exclusive Recovery Blend, which features four potent botanicals grown on their biodynamic farm in South Australia:
1. Holy Basil – Known as the “elixir of life” in Ayurveda and a potent adaptogen, this ingredient will help to minimise signs of ageing.
2. Iris Root – Supports recovery, targeting stressed-out and tired skin.
3. Echinacea – Has antioxidant benefits to protect the skin from environmental stressors.
4. Black Elderflower – Exfoliates the skin to target unevenness and dullness.
These ingredients work together to target the first signs of ageing, replenish the skin’s moisture barrier and restore skin radiance.

My mini Jurlique Herbal Recovery Bi-Phase Serum review:
I love a recovery serum, especially when I’ve overdone it with the vitamin A serums.
This serum was gentle enough to use twice a day and I could see it immediately calmed my skin down.
It’s got a unique oil/water texture, and this formulation felt like it locked in moisture for the whole day.
It’s not oily as I assumed it might be - it absorbs straight into the skin and leaves you super hydrated.
Don’t forget to shake it before using it to mix the oil and water.

My mini Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Cream review:
I love a super lightweight eye cream as it stops me from getting milia (those small white bumps) under the eyes.
Whilst it has a cream texture, it instantly absorbs into the area and has a silky finish.
Perfect for under makeup!

My mini Jurlique Herbal Recovery Cream review:
This cream has the same luxurious smell and texture I love about Jurlique moisturisers.
It’s lightweight so it was the perfect addition to my morning routine and pairs well under makeup (I have oily skin so don’t want anything too rich during the day).
I also like the addition of shea butter and hyaluronic acid to pump up the hydration and nourishment.

Fast facts:
- Fast-absorbing oil texture.
- A cooling ball activator helps you massage the oil into the under-eye area.
- Targets the first signs of ageing and dehydrated under-eye area.
- Lightweight oil formulated with jojoba, avocado and sunflower seed oil as well as Jurlique’s Radiance Blend (rose, calendula, marshmallow and lavender).
My mini Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Oil Roll-On review:
I don’t generally use oils (I’m an oily skin gal), but I was keen to try the ball applicator.
I’ve never used oil under my eyes and was expecting it to be too heavy for me, but it’s lightweight and true to its promise, absorbed quickly.
I decided just to use this one at night as that area of my face gets oily during the day.
How to use Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Oil Roll-On?
You roll the ball under each eye three lights and then pat the excess product with your ring finger.
I wanted my mum to try it too because she loves a face oil...
Her verdict: “Obsessed. Instantly hydrates.”

My mini Jurlique Herbal Recovery Face Oil review:
Whenever I’m using a facial oil, I like to mix a couple of drops into my moisturiser especially if I’m looking for extra plumpness.
I got my mum to trial this oil too and she ended up stealing my bottle.
Her skin looked next-level glowy!
She said it’s perfect for face, neck and décolletage.
Final Verdict…
I would recommend this range to someone looking to target the first signs of ageing but also might be struggling with stressed-out skin, including redness and sensitivity.
Each product would fit nicely in with your current skincare routine.
The oil-based products would suit a normal-to-dry skin type, while the lightweight moisturiser and eye cream would work for all skin types, including combination and oily.
The standout for me is the Herbal Recovery Bi-Phase Serum.
It amped up my skin’s hydration with the oil/water texture but also calmed down any redness and irritation I had from overusing Vitamin A in the previous week.
