Dry Shampoo

Want to freshen up your hair without washing? Only have 5 minutes to style your hair in the morning? No problem. Dry shampoo is an easy solution, and an essential to have on hand no matter what your hair type is.

Made with ingredients that absorb impurities and excess oil, dry shampoo usually comes in an aerosol for quick and easy application. Not only will it make hair look freshly washed, it also doubles as a volumiser and texturiser for hair. Fine, flat hair gets body and bounce, so you can be out the door with a gorgeous head of hair in no time at all.

Who Should Use Dry Shampoo?

  • Anyone who wants to reduce excess oil in their hair without washing
  • Anyone who wants to add some volume and texture to their hair
  • Anyone who wants to extend the life of a blowout

Dry shampoo can be used on any hair colour, and some dry shampoos are even available in light and dark tones for an undetectable finish. Perfect for all hair types too.

How Do I Use Dry Shampoo?

If your dry shampoo comes in an aerosol can: Shake well and spray into the roots of the hair from a distance of 20cm. Blend in any excess powder with fingertips. Dry shampoo can also be used in the lengths and ends of the hair for volume and texture.

If your dry shampoo is in a powder: Gently sprinkle onto the roots of the hair. Powdered dry shampoos can be messier to apply so take your time!

Pro Tip: Apply dry shampoo the night before so it has time to soak up as much oil as it can. In the morning you’ll wake up to beautiful, voluminous hair.

Let’s not sugarcoat anything here – having sensitive eyes is bloody annoying. If you experience sensitivity yourself, you’re probably familiar with watery mascara streaks, black smudges, itchiness and bloodshot eyes. Not fun, is it? Dermatologists and ophthalmologists say the key to preventing discomfort and allergens is to use gentle eye makeup products. This is where […]

Out of all the various serums on the market, I’d say Vitamin C serums involve the most trial and error for the user. Given the instability of this ingredient, the sometimes strong smell and often associated tingling sensation, discovering the right formula for your skin can be a minefield. But boy, when you find the […]
