Underrated gem

Bonnie

I think the popularity of warm-toned palettes has overshadowed some great cool-toned gems on the market. This Eye of Horus Winter Solstice palette is one of them. Compared to some other cool-toned palettes with many lighter tones that lean grey, I like that all eight shades vary in colour and finishes, and have depth to them. The formula is easy to blend and the pans (3g) are larger than most eyeshadows I own (most of mine are around 1.5g) so although it may appear quite pricey, there’s a lot of product in this palette.

Disappointing

Serenity

Purchased the Summer Solstice palette from my local Health Shop and initially was very excited to try. But even though the colours are gorgeous, for me it had little staying power and needed re applying after 3 hours! Shadow was placed after concealer and a dusting of setting powder. Definitely not worth the $$.

  2. Did not like

    LS

Has some nice shades for everyday but the pigment was awful and takes forever to blend. Not worth the price tag, you'd be better off by getting a MAC palette at this price and know that it won't disappoint you.
  3. decent palette

    jw

i do love this palette - the quality is great and i love the selection of colours, although not sure if worth the hefty price tag
  4. Good

    Dhanoa

Very pigmented and easy to blend.
  5. Cleopatra eyes

    Em

Love the colour combos and you can really create depth on hooded eyes, but there is a little fallout through the day without primer.
  6. love it

    bella

these colours are amazing and super pigmented
  7. Perfect pigments & Australian made!

    Poppy

I use this palette every single day, the shade selection is super wearable. The payoff is great and I love that they are natural and made locally. They also last a long time so certainly worth the investment.
  8. Beautiful colours

    Neel

The shades in this palette are right up my alley. This does remind me of one the Tarte mini palettes however, which is about half the price of this one. Unfortunately, as gorgeous as the shades are, the blend and pigmentation aren't that great. They also don't last all day on me even with primer. Love the packaging and the layout.
  9. Universal

    P

Universal shades that can create all kinds of looks and very pigmented.

The eyeshadow is quite pigmented and blendable. It can be used for smoky looks.
  13. Great shadows!

    Dee

Great eye shadows in exquisite shades that are highly pigmented and blend beautifully
  14. Beautiful, full-pigment colour!

    Elle (Adore Beauty Staff)

How gorgeous are the colours in this palette!? The perfect warm tones, with a combination of shimmery and satin finishes. These colours blend smoothly and easily. Versatile enough for subtle every day looks as well as for creating glam, evening looks.
