Great for blow drying
I cannot rave about EVO brushes enough, they are strong unlike plastic and great quality! Perfect for my sometimes unruly hair. I believe its worth the money to invest in a long lasting brush.

  2. Blow Dry Essential

This brush creates a perfect shinny wave when used with the blow dryer. The bristles are soft on the scalp and the brush is really good quality
  3. Shiny blow wave for long hair

I was looking to upgrade my brushes and, since I have fine hair, I wanted to get brushes to help me get a better blow dry. I was drawn to the Evo line because they seemed to be good quality, had a variety of different brushes and combs and are just plain pretty for a coordinated set!
I've always owned at least one boar-bristle radial brush but I think quality makes a big difference, as the result I'm getting from my Bruce is far better. I get less volume than with a ceramic vented brush but more shine. But you can get the best of both worlds - I used the ceramic Hank 52 brush first to add volume, smooth and dry the section; and, before letting the hair cool, I put my hairdryer down, grabbed the cold Bruce 38 and ran it through that hot section several times. It's a trick a hairdresser taught me - the cold bristle brush helps to get the curl in, set the section and add shine, and it's easier to do at home yourself.
The Bruce line tick all the boxes - the boar bristle is densely packed, the brush isn't not too heavy, it has a sectioning pick and a comfortable handle. I did find it shed during my first two uses but that seems to have stopped.
The Bruce 38 is great to get movement in long hair, with a subtle wave. Easy to work with. Highly recommended for long hair and to add volume to medium hair.
  4. Smooths hair

I have thick coarse hair and this is the best round brush I’ve used. It’s light in your hand so doesn’t weigh down your arms when drying. It really smooths out and straightens my hair. I’ve had lot of comments about how my hair sits since I got this brush!
  5. Wonderful for smoothing out your hair when blow drying, but

I purchased this particular brush as I read great reviews they were a 'healthy' option for a brush as some can be particularly damaging on wet fragile hair when blow drying! I definitely notice it smooth out my hair when used correctly and leaving it feeling soft - however my hair is all different lengths and due to large size isn't ideal for those shorter bits. So if you have long thick hair - it's perfect! I think I just need a smaller one also for my shorter hairs!
