Most Helpful Positive

Definite staying power
This spray ensures my makeup stays in place all day and has quickly become a staple in my beauty bag. It's definitely on the pricey side, especially for a setting spray.

Most Helpful Criticism

A reasonable setting spray for my dry skin
This was the first setting spray I ever used, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think it does a good job of extending makeup longevity, but works best as a refreshing spray throughout the day.

It works really well to "re-blend" makeup... at the end of the day when you want to do a touch up before heading out, it makes any newly applied products meld together nicely for a flawless finish - definitely gets rid of that cakey powder on powder look.

I have used Urban Decay All Nigher (too drying) and the Urban Decay Chill (for dry skin) and I think this Estee Lauder setting spray is better than both of those for dry skin.

  2. Perfect

Perfect finish to the Estée Lauder double wear foundation!
  3. Very refreshing and lightweight

Makes my skin glow and feels so smooth!
  4. great hydrator and setter

Great setting and refreshing spray! I use this before and after I have done my make up, before helps to hydrate and refresh my skin and after helps to set it. I also keep on in my handbag for at work if throughout the day I am feeling too dry or oily I spray some and it pretty much sorts out my make up so it doesn't start to look too oily or dry. It smells great too just like a lightly scented water and doesn't leave patches or dots on you skin like some other setting sprays do, which means you can spray it on the go and not have to worry!
  5. Very luxurious

I finally bought this a few months ago after wanting it for ages, but I could never justify the high price point. I can see why it's so expensive, it feels super luxurious and definitely better than cheaper sprays. It's probably not an essential item to use every day, but my skin feels so hydrated and smooth after using it. If you're wanting a 'nice' product to treat yourself with, this will definitely be a good purchase.
  6. Nice luxury setting spray

I have dry skin and am in my 40s so powders often don't work well for me. So I bought this spray to set my face. My thoughts: it feels really nice and refreshing on my skin, it is like magic how it sprays on moist but then sets like a velvety veil, and it smells really nice - it has a lovely, subtle scent. I find that it makes my skin look smoother and my skin feels like silk when I apply it, but I can't say for sure if it makes make up stay on for longer. I see this as a luxury product, not a necessity. I estimate it will last me for close to a year with daily use, so the price is okay.

  8. Fresh

I use this as a set misted over foundation in the morning - great natural set and doesn’t make my face feel sweaty during the day like others- and as a refresher in the afternoons if I’m going out to dinner or have an important meeting. Feels great and very refreshing in the afternoons.
  9. refreshing

I use this mist to set my makeup and also to spray my brushes before I use powder so more product can get on the brushes.
  10. Good setting spray

I use this as a setting spray after applying full face makeup and powder finish. Works great. Is refreshing, and prevents my makeup from looking cakey.
However, I don't really feel like it makes my makeup last longer but instead just gives it a polished finished look.
  11. Refreshing

A really nice, refreshing mist which contains good stuff like caffeine and - halleluiah! - doesn't contain any citrus oils like 99% of mists currently on the market. This has a very nice, neutral scent and doesn't contain any aggressive fragrances or additives, meaning it is perfect for a quick refreshing face spray during hot weather or when your skin feels dry after spending hours next to heaters/air-conditioners. It's a bit on the pricey side for what it actually is, but tends to last for ages.
