One of the best value for money brush cleaners on the market

Alexandra

One of the best value for money brush shampoos on the market.

Excellent for getting brushes clean, doesn't make any bristles fall out and I feel like it gets even the most stubborn stains out of eyeshadow brushes.

You don't need to use a lot to get the job done.

Average product

Very average product, worth a try
  1. Okay product

    Kyra

I find this brush shampoo okay, but you still really need to scrub the brushes to get the gunk out. It doesn't seem to melt away or break down the makeup. Good for someone who doesn't use their brushes often and someone on a budget.
  2. DOES WHAT IT SAYS!

    Marcus

A friend gave this product to me because she didn't like using it - I can't understand why because I've actually really enjoyed using it!! It cleans my brushes well (using warm water) and is gentle on my skin.
  3. Okay, but you need to work hard

    Julia

This is an okay product, but it's not magic. I find I need to work pretty hard to get some product out of my brushes. For the price though....pretty okay
  4. works well enough for the price

    Taylah

It cleans brushes but feel like have to use more product than other brands. I find the container quite awkward to use and hard to get the product out.For the price it works well enough but wouldn't purchase full price.
  5. Clean brushes

    Rachel

Does a great job at removing makeup from brushes

  7. Great

    Peter

I love this product, my only problem is the shape of the bottle! It is not a typical cylinder shaped bottle, it is a square bottle. This makes it difficult to get the product out and makes it feel quite awkward.
  8. Great

    Simon

I got this like a month or so ago and I love it. I clean then almost every Sunday. My brush are doing great. I can’t recommend it enough. I also recommend getting the cleaning brush glove it makes it so much easier to clean them.
  9. For how cheap it is its okay

    Adriana

Does an okay job. Sometimes I use this and other times just a face cleanser I didn't really like. This was the first brush shampoo I've ever had so will be interesting to see how others compare once I finally finish it.
  10. pretty good for the price

    Christina

I only use my brushes for powder and this shampoo does get powder off my brushes pretty easily. I'm not sure if it'd do as good a job with foundation. The only annoying thing is the bottle - it is really hard to squeeze product out.
  11. It’s okay but wouldn’t recommend

    Natalie

It cleans my brushes but it must be gentle because it takes a few washes to get everything out. It’s really difficult to squeeze because of the square shape. I got it on sale so I don’t mind but wouldn’t repurchase
  12. Disappointed

    Ourania

This was a little disappointing. It didn't clean my brushes very well as there was still a lot of product in the brushes after washing with this shampoo a number of times. I had to was them again with another brush cleaner to remove the residual product still in the brushes. I expected more from this as elf products are typically high quality even though they are budget friendly.
  13. So basic

    Amy

This is just soap. It would be cheaper and more effective to use regular shampoo on my brushes. This was hard to squeeze out of the container and did not remove much of the makeup from my brushes.
  14. Ok..

    Anita

This is a okish cleaner.. doesn't do the best job but gets some of the products out.
  15. Ok cleaner

    Kathryn

It cleaned my brushes ok, but the product was hard to squeeze out. Good for a budget brush cleaner but was not amazing.
  16. cheap but doesnt work on thick foundation brushes

    Mya

works for eye shadow brushes where the pigment is from dry shadows, but found it didnt really work for my foundation brush as it isnt strong enough and took a few washes but its cheap and a good thing to have as a makeup artist to ensure cleanliness and hygeine
  17. brush cleanser

    Rebecca

This is a very good affordable brush shampoo from ELF. I like to keep my makeup brushes as clean as possible so when I saw this & the price I just had to try it.

This is a mild cleansing fluid & I find it soaps up quite like a shower gel or mild shampoo. It gets quite foamy. The cleansing fluid is easy to wash through the brushes & doesn't damage the bristles or shape. The product doe...
