Pretty natural looking colours, pretty sure, not very much pigmentation, works well as blush. Most colours are too bright as lipstick for darker skin tones.

  2. Great

    Aline

It is great! I'm loving!! My lips are very dry and it does not dry out, besides the color has good duration. I hoped it was a little more moisturizing, but even though it's not as I expected, I'm in love.
  3. Lovely consistency!

    Lara

I have this product in so many colours now - such vibrant colours without drying out my lips like other lipsticks do. Graped-Up didn't look good on my fair skin though, just a thing to consider!
  4. Beautiful

    es

Beautiful formula, applies beautifully and easily and is super pigmented! Also very moisturising!
  5. Gorgeous

    Kate

Silky, beautiful subtle colour, feels so nourishing! Highly recommend!
  6. Smooth application

    B

Smooth application and gorgeous, bright colour. Really nice quality and lasts hours
  7. light colour

    Nicole

Love the hydrating formula of this lip balm! It is light but gives me enough of a colour pop for my everyday no-makeup makeup look. would love to try more colours
  8. Easy and moisturizing

    Noor

Super strawberry and Whole Lotta Honey are nice every day easy colour to wear without looking in a mirror. Moisturizing enough, more so than Revlon’s stick and Burt’s Bees sticks. Wish they were a little less expensive though
  9. Subtle and pretty

    Tina

I have personally been using this product for years now and although I do like to test out different lipstick formulas, this product has always been a staple that I always go back to. On days where us girls are too lazy to put on makeup, this tint is really the only thing you need since I find that a little flush of colour gives so much life to my appearance. Its sheer formula makes it really easy to apply on the go too without a mirror which is an added bonus
  10. Super strawberry is the best colour ever

    Ada

Love this product, been using it for years.
  11. Moisturisin lip balm

    Hayley

Received this as part of a gift with purchase in Mega Melon, a light summery colour. Glides on easily and is moisturising but the colour isn't very long lasting.Good if you want a hint of colour and moisturisation but not if you want a long lasting colour which I guess you're not really going to get from a balm.
  12. perfect wash of colour

    r

I am not an overt fan of the natural colour of my lips, and with winter coming....im already finding that my lips are overly dry. The chubby sticks are the perfect wash of colour, and hydrating wash of colour, for my 99% off the time makeup-less face.

I would not however wear these when i do have make up on because i do find them a tad dull to be worn on an occasion, for my taste.
  13. ♪ Nobody gonna *chub* me better, I must *stick*witu forever ♪

    Christine (Adore Beauty Staff)

An oh so useful chubby stick, worthy of a Pussycat Dolls dedication.

Helps me look less dead and washed out. The best part is you could almost get away with applying this with your eyes shut!
  14. Light & Hydrating

    Melissa (Adore Beauty Staff)

Love the light and hydrating formula of this lip balm! It gives me enough of a colour pop for my everyday no-makeup makeup look.
  15. Great lippy!

    Kristy (Adore Beauty Staff)

It had probably been 10 years since i had used a chubby stick...so when the opportunity arose to try it again with the new formula i was keen to give it a go.

And.......i was presently surprised! The new formula is super hydrating, making my lips feel really soft and moisturised.
I love applying this to my lips and the colour is great also.
  16. Moisturising with a lovely tint

    Akanksha

It’s quite moisturising and has a lovely cherry tint( I have chunky cherry), I do find the smell a bit odd but a really good lip balm to have.
  17. Moisturising and sheer colour

    Ka

Love this for a no makeup-makeup look. It looks so effortless and gives a healthy flush to the lips without looking heavy
  18. MLBB - Super Strawberry

    Shannon (Adore Beauty Staff)

I remember the hype when these first launched! I was itching to try these for years but never found an excuse to take the plunge with my existing, oversized collection of lip balms.

I have the colour Super Strawberry which, Googling images now, looks less bright in person - more of a nude pink with cool-neutral tones. I think these are a safe blind buy too - all shades are super sheer, and its a nice selection.

They're hydrating enough to use on their lonesome, and look good over lipstick too. They're not literally as hydrating as a lip treatment, but my lips don't get dry throughout the day using these either. No complaints here!
  19. Surprising good - not the old chubby stick i remember

    Meike (Adore Beauty Staff)

Its been awhile since i had a chubby stick and i dont remember it being soooo good!
This chubby stick is super moisturizing, doesn't cake and my lips feel hydrated long after it has worn off.
Loving the sheer pink colour, which seems to suit many skintones not just a light medium tone.
The pen application is very easy to use and get a perfect pout.
  20. comfortable and easy

    Catherine

easy to use comfortable formula and does in some really great colours!
  21. Moisturising and sheer colour

    Ka

It does what it says. Moisturising lip balm, and really nice selection of colours. A couple of shades here (like whole lotta honey) are MLBB shades. Sheer colour, and doesn't last too long, but that's to be expected with lip balms. Perhaps a bit overpriced for what it is.
  22. Hydrating with a hint of colour

    Essra

I got a full size sample of this and found it to be hydrating. Colour wasn't intense but looks really natural :)
  23. Great product

    Emma

I love these, the cone in great shades. I just wish they were cheaper so I could buy them all! Very handy to have everywhere.
  24. Love it!

    Nikita

These are awesome! Love the colours and that they are moisturizing like a a lip balm but have great coverage like a lip stick and are super fun and easy to use. Plus they last forever!
  25. Quite Moisturising

    Tina

A girl can never have too many lip balms. The colour payoff although is quite sheer I find that it gives a bit of life to dull lips. The crayon design is also very convenient to carry around in a purse and the best thing about such balms is that you can reapply without needing to use a mirror.
  26. Natural

    Bec

Pretty natural looking colours, pretty sure, not very much pigmentation, works well as blush. Most colours are too bright as lipstick for darker skin tones.
  27. Great moisturising hint of colour

    Caitlin

Perfect for a colour pick me up that is laid back, casual and fresh. Love the colours and super easy to wear for dry lips.
  28. Moisturising balm!

    Bridget

I received this as a free gift. I’m in two minds about this.
It’s absolutely beautiful to apply and very moisturising. It gives a very faint hit of colour, which would be good for no make up days. However, given the price I’m not sure I’d but it as it really is just a balm and I have others that are effective at a fraction of the price.
Will absolutely be using this on my upcoming trip to America in January during their bitter winter!
  29. Great no makeup / every day balm

    Sophie

This provides a really nice natural sheer wash of colour. My lips always tend to look washed out so I use it on days where I'm not wearing makeup to give them some colour without looking like I've got lipstick on. It's really smooth and moisturising. Lasts about what you'd expect for a lip balm i.e. you'll need to reapply after eating. Basically a great "your lips but better" option.
  30. Moisturising and looks good

    Neel

I used to use this all the time when I first started wearing makeup but wasn't quite sure I could pull off lipstick. They come in a variety of shades and although they are not super pigmented, they provide a healthy wash of colour to the lips and are very moisturising. They are really nice to wear on a no makeup day where you still want a little pop of colour but don't want to look like you tried hard. Love these!
  31. Nice

    Kylie Q

These are a really nice moisturising balm with a hint of colour. A bit pricey for a balm though in my opinion.
  32. Lovely texture

    Kylie

I love these! I’m not a fan of lipstick as it’s drying so products like these that are moisturising are my go to. I wish they were a little more pigmented but they are a great product and they feel so good on the lips!
  33. Love these!

    Alex

These Chubby sticks are perfect for dry lips that need moisture. They hydrate well and keep my lips soft long after using them. I love the soft colors, too - I'm not a fan of heavy, sticky, glossy lipsticks.
  34. Great on the go balm :)

    Phoebe

On the sheerer side (not extremely sheer but enough pigment!). I've tried Two Ton Tomato (nothing special just a nice red) and Mega Melon (which I quite like! Though shimmery). Moisturising and quick to apply, not bad!

Won't last through eating since it's a moisturising lip balm (like most others) and not a fan of the scent, smells like plastic.

Overall not a regretful purchase 4/5!
  35. Love!

    E

Love these! Great when you just want a hint of colour, also great when your lips are feeling a little dry/flaky as the colour doesnt emphasise it!
  36. perfect

    YW

I bought the shade Pudgy Peony as I wanted a nice rosy shade to go with a lot of different makeup looks. I love that these are sheer but also buildable. I can wear it as a sheer wash of colour or build it up to be quite intense and pigmented. It's also surprisingly long lasting for a product with a very slippy texture. I love this so much I keep it in my handbag at all times.
  37. Moisturising, subtle colour.

    Kathryn

I use this product when I need a moisture-boost, and want to add a bit of colour without using a lipstick. The only downside is that it isn't longwearing.
  38. Absolutely love this not cruelty free though

    Katie

The most moisturising lip sticks I have tried, love that there's a good amount of colour, bought from the Clinique counter in Myer and am a constant re user, Lasts quite well however not through eating and drinking, will not be buying again due to the company testing on animals
  39. Super-strawberry

    Danielle

I received this as a freebie and it is one of my all time favourites. It's moisturising and provides a beautiful tint. I received the Super-strawberry which turned out to go perfectly with fair skin. It's an elegant young colour, that is not too over the top.
  40. Great for on the go

    Isabel

These Clinique chubby sticks have a lovely formulation. They come is some great colours. They are great for on the go use. I think they're great for summer to add a bit of colour and shine to your lips.
  41. Sheer veil of clour

    Ourania

This chubby stick is great to keep in your bag when you’re on the go. It gives a sheer layer of colour that works with most make up looks. This works much like a lipgloss but does not leave a sticky texture or feel greasy on the lips. It is very hydrating and leaves behind a light tint. There is no noticeable fragrance.
  42. Great lip colours

    Ashleigh

Chubby sticks have such a great pigment - not too bright, not too dull. You need to reapply throughout the day, but they are very moisturising and perfectly understated! I have 4 colours - watermelon is by far my favourite ;-)
  43. Yay for chubby sticks!

    Kirsty

I was a bit slow getting on the Clinique Chubby Stick train, as I was still clinging to my beloved Almost Lipstick (which is now offered in just a single OG shade) - but now I'm addicted! These are great and are moisturising without being sticky like a gloss. Great stuff!
  44. Lovely lips

    Kelly

I love Clinique Chubby Sticks for my lips. It's the lipstick you're wearing when you're not wearing lipstick! I generally don't use lipstick anymore at all, so I like to find a lip balm with colour that I can wear and not look too made up, or alternatively use with a face full of makeup and not look like I skipped my lips. These Chubby Sticks fit the bill. I have very pale lips so I find I need some colour on my lips at all times so as not to look sick, but I don't like strong obvious colour if I'm not wearing makeup. These Cubby Sticks allow me to add colour in a way that can be minimal or stronger if I like. It goes on smoothly onto my dry lips, and they feel comfortable, not dry. Unlike gloss, this product is never sticky so no worries in the wind with hair out! It lasts well. Thanks to the relaxed crayon type design, I'm confident applying this anytime day or night without looking like someone who's constantly putting on lipstick.
  45. Moisturising

    Ern Wei

I have this is bountiful blush. This is the perfect colour which is slightly darker than my lip colour. It applies quite sheer so it is perfect to take with me on the go - I won't need a mirror to reapply. It is wonderfully moisturising and I don't need to apply it over lip balm. It has a slightly glossy finish. It lasts around 3-4 hours on my lips if I am not eating and doesn't leave a stain when it fades off.
All in all, I really like this product and would recommend it to anybody who wants a hydrated feel and a 'my lips but better' look.
  46. LOVE!!!

    Charley (Adore Beauty Staff)

Chubby Sticks - The best thing since... EVER! I have been obsessed with Chubby Sticks for years, and the colour range is great! They're super easy to apply, hydrating, and the colour lasts for ages. Great to have in your handbag to top up on the go! They make for lovely gifts too.
  47. Nourishing and natural

    Melissa

This is a great one for girls that like a bit of moisturisation with their lip colour. The texture is a balm, so it feels hydrating, refreshing and leaves a nice gloss. If you're wearing a darker colour, be sure to apply lip liner beforehand, as you may find it bleeds a tad.
