But TikTok's obsession with the chic aesthetic - and the odd Hailey Bieber endorsement - has taken the Lip Glow hype to a whole new level.
At one point, every person and their debit card was struggling to get their hands on this sold-out DIOR lip product.
Lip Glow is a hydrating, nourishing gloss balm that gives you that sheer 'your lips, but better' wash of colour.
Oh, and it promises to instantly enhance your entire complexion with beautified glowy lips, for up to six hours.

Amy's DIOR Lip Glow review:
My ultimate beauty pet peeve is a lip balm that says it's tinted, but isn't.
No such treachery with DIOR Lip Glow - just plump, juicy lips that feel as good as they look.
TikTok made me think DIOR Addict Lip Glow Balm in Rosewood would be my perfect shade, but I get so many compliments while wearing Mahogany.
Exhibit A.
It throws a pinky brown with the slightest berry undertone on my fair cool-toned lips that's perfect for no-makeup makeup days.
The DIOR Lip Glow Cherry shade (pictured above) is what I'll be wearing when I want to feel a bit special.
It's punchy and fresh, and a very wearable, low maintenance orange-based shade of red.
So... do you need the DIOR Lip Glow Balm?
Look, budget permitting, I think you might.

DIOR Lip Glow might just be the best tinted lip balm in the world.
Scratch that. It is the best.
12 out of 10 worth the hype.
You honestly can't go wrong with any of the DIOR Lip Glow colour reviver balm shades, either as your everyday lip colour, or a treat yourself gift.
Mahogany is my top pick, but I'll be adding Rosewood to my next staff order.
Better be quick, though. I predict this will sell out.
