"I think if you're over forty, you know why I'm going to recommend this.” says Amanda.
“The slanted tweezer from Adore Beauty makes plucking those chin hairs and those wild stray eyebrow hairs a whole lot easier.”
Amanda finds these tweezers are also great and easy to use thanks to their heavy, good quality and weighted design.
2. Nude by Nature Soft Focus Illuminator, $24.95.

Has a lightweight texture and gives a subtle, luminous finish.
Can be worn both under or over makeup.
Is Australian-made & cruelty-free.
"Another fave for us over 40s' is the Nude by Nature soft focus illuminator." says Amanda.

You can use this as a targeted highlighter, or when you’re feeling a bit lacklustre or less than; pop it all over your skin.”
Amanda brings this illuminating highlighter down to her décolletage and says, “as you can see, it gives my skin that li-from within glow.”

She suggests applying this highlighter under your makeup and says it can even be worn on no-makeup days to bring some life into the skin.
“Or, you can also use it over makeup as a bit of a targeted highlighter." she says.
3. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, $19.99.

Covers imperfections and dark circles with a breathable, natural finish.
Free from oils and waxes.
Has a translucent base and lightweight pigments.
Is non-comedogenic, dermatologist-tested, ophthalmologist-tested and fragrance-free.
"It works beautifully under the eye area, as long as you've prepped your eyes quite well." Amanda says.
"Use your hydrating eye serum first, and then this will work an absolute treat underneath that delicate eye zone and also as a general concealer."
Amanda shows us in her YouTube video below how this Maybelline concealer helps to diffuse the dark shadows under the eyes.
She also uses it to lighten up some of the centre areas of her face that can sometimes bring the whole face down. Great hack!
This is one the best concealers for mature skin according to Amanda because of its lightweight texture as well as its light-reflecting abilities.

4. Maybelline Cheek Heat Gel Cream Blush, $18.99.

5. L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper, $22.99.

A tinted brow gel that thickens and defines brows.
Creates a naturally full look.
Has a non-sticky formula and is dermatologist-tested.
Is water-resistant.
“The L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper is a really great budget-busting under $30 brow gel that will swiftly and quickly groom your brows, plump them up, make them look a little fluffier, fuller whilst holding them in place and tinting those greys.” Amanda says.
Her pro tip when using this brow gel for mature skin is to scrape the brush back onto the tube as they often come out of the pot with a lot of product on the brush when you first take out.
6. Ultra Violette Sheen Screen SPF50 Lip Balm, $25.
